This hotel offers very good location for those doing battle field tours. Surrounded by war cematries. They have gone overload into that that theme with fiteed carpets in poppy decor. For a 4 star hotel with a business slant it was fine. Not my sort of hotel so unfair to comment further.

We walked with our bags from Albert train station, be warned its a long hike, if coming by train, the snooker bar opposite the train station will organise a taxi, stop, have a pint and get a taxi up, thats my tip. Once at hotel, we found the rooms a good size, great bathroom, no noise at all at night....

We stayed 2 nights and whilst the rooms are a little small, they were comfortable to stay in. Our room was very clean with comfortable bedding and had free wifi in the room. The helpful and friendly staff could have done with another members working, as they were run off their feet attending to customers in the on-site Restaurant, whilst...

I stayed in the Ibis at Albert last weekend for a short trip to the Somme battlefields with my brother. To be honest it wasn’t my first choice – I couldn’t get into any hotels in Town. But I could not have stayed at a better place. We really fell on our feet. It was the perfect location for a...

After three Ibis Budget hotels (blue logo), this Ibis (red logo) was a very pleasant change. It made us realise that the very modest extra cost was well worth it, and in future we would not book an Ibis Budget if there was a choice. The first difference was the greeting on arrival: one felt genuinely welcome. Rooms are of...

We spent a night here whilst visiting key sites of the Somme and we were not disappointed. The hotel is easy to find on the main road into Albert from the east, about a mile from the centre. Therfe is plenty of parking space available. We found he staff to be very friendly and helpful, with no language barrier. The...

The hotel is central to the battlefields, a little on the expensive side for what it is, but it is clean and air conditioned. Drinks are expensive and the menu is not inspiring. I drove into Albert and ate there.
