We needed a place to stay for our last night in Italy before returning to the States. We found this gem, which is 5 minutes off the highway. It’s a 17th century Villa tucked into a tiny hillside town. The quaint grounds couldn’t be more charming—covered with grape vines and surround by fields of olive trees and free roaming sheep. The common areas of the hotel are fill with items that are dear to the family, including lots of old family photos. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Star stars of the show here are the owners, who take incredible prices in every aspect of their hotel. Their serve ever meal them selves, they explain where I very item on the menu comes from, and why it’s special. The dinner was absolutely delicious , featuring locally sourced ingredients. After dinner, we were treated to homemade limoncello, in their quaint garden. We stayed there for one night and they could not have been more thoughtful or caring. As we rushed on in the morning to get to the airport, we were handed delicious handmade prosciutto and cheese sandwiches on homemade focaccia. We loved this gem and could not recommend it any higher.

on December 31st we booked a suite in this resort, when we arrived we had a wonderful welcome, young professional, cheerful and helpful staff. Wonderful suite with relaxation area with candles and hydromassage tub, super-equipped bathroom complete with bath products and accessories. Spectacular patio with table and lantern, quiet spacious room with bed and comfortable pillows with spectacular view of the town, equipped with coffee and tea machine stocked with pods, TV, minibar, radio, safe, heating, beautiful furnishings, home with attention to the smallest details . Note all the scented environments with maximum cleanliness diffusers. We took advantage of the New Year's Eve dinner, a very beautiful room tastefully set. Everything was perfect and impeccable from the band to the waiters who served with professionalism and at the right time. Thanks to the chefs for a truly magnificent varied fish dinner. Perhaps the only flaw was the breakfast. On the morning of January 1st we went down to have breakfast, the scheduled time was from 8.00 to 10.00, too bad that by 9.00 everything was already almost finished, however the waitress was kind and helpful in asking us if she had to bring anything else. to remedy. Upon departure, the reception staff were very kind and gave us some sweets. Well done to all the staff and see you soon, we will definitely return to this wonderful villa. Carlo and Annamaria from Rome

This is truly a very special place. Annamaria and Pietro made us feel at home the moment we arrived (as did their adorable Cavalier King Charles spaniel, Bella). They were so thoughtful to quickly prepare a wonderful, mouth-watering lunch, seeing that we had been traveling. Villa Euchalia offers impeccable accommodations in a beautiful and cozy 18th Century space. Our Starry Sky room had a breathtaking balcony view overlooking Castrocielo and the Liri Valley. Pietro is a master chef with a meticulous touch: the rustic breakfasts were delicious and dinner was absolutely amazing. We would highly recommend Euchalia for anyone making a stop in Ciociaria. Annamaria and Pietro's passion for hospitality is incredible and something we will always remember. We look forward to returning someday!!!

We booked at this property for two days 14 and 15 August through booking. The first day all well we enjoyed the kindness of the staff, the delicious cuisine and especially made use of the cozy pool given the very high temperatures of these days. We allowed ourselves a small holiday to escape from home and the high temperatures and have the opportunity to relax and cool off in front of a beautiful sunset and a cocktail. Even the day of mid-August seemed to start well with a great breakfast, a nice dip in the pool already in the morning but on that occasion we are told that the use of the pool was available until 17, in fact precluding the best hours, this because of a private event not previously communicated to us at the time of Reservation and the subsequent contact with the structure to define the details of the stay. Among other things, the mid-August lunch, to be said excellent, however, ended at 3.45 pm this made it impossible to use the pool in consideration of the time of prohibition of 17. We then went up to the room to shelter from the heat and inevitably the situation created has greatly annoyed us forcing us to stay in the room. The previous day we were not bored by having had a room without a window but equipped with a small glass slot from which you can not even look out. Also because then, after all, what would have been the use of staying in the room if there is a pool?? Not being promptly notified of this event / birthday in the pool in the afternoon and on the day of mid-August, has prevented us from not only fully enjoying our only two days of vacation but also prevented us from being able to choose another structure to guarantee us the much-dreamed of stay, albeit short, for this holiday. On this occasion I believe that the managers of the structure have paid little attention to the needs and expectations of their guests precisely because on the "mid-August" day we believe that private events that preclude the full use of the structure by guests should not be a solution / option to travel.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at Villa Euchelia. The room "'i segreti del giardino" was amazing with its hydromassage bathtube and the area for relaxing. The dinner was marvellous, very high quality food and excellent service. Also the breakfast was delicious and abundant. The swimming pool area with its beautiful view and sun all day long invited for relaxing hours. Just at small distance from Montecassino, this place is a perfect stay in order to discover the beautiful monastery and surrounding historical sights. We definitely recommend this place and are looking forward to come back another time. Thanks to the owners for their great hospitality!

The hotel is nice, but unfortunately we didn't have any connectivity to the internet. Our room was at 4th floor and the sign of internet was very very weak which makes it impossible to use. That actually ruined our vacation. We stayed there for two nights. The staff were very helpful and very nice, but one of the main reasons of choosing the hotel we would like to spend our vacation is the Internet - and in this hotel, inbthis room it wasn't working. I would expect them to change our room or the floor.

We stopped here during July while driving from Rome to Naples. We just called them a few hours earlier and it was midnight when we finally arrived. But they not just waited for us but with a two course dinner which was amazing. From the moment we arrived the owners were all so helpful and kind. Our room was charming and clean, spotless and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast is amazing, huge variety of local food with a very good coffee. The staff were incredible, doing everything they could to help us They care about their guest. We loved it so much than we stayed 2 night instead of one.We highly recommend this guesthouse, and the area as well especially the Abbey of Montecassino. We definitely will come back.

We spent a weekend dedicated to good food in a location with attention to the smallest details. Welcoming atmosphere and impeccable service. We felt pampered. A round of applause to all the "very young" staff. We will definitely be back

We went as a group for a yoga retreat for 4 days. The venue was beautiful inside and out, and the countryside nearby was so peaceful. It's a family-run business and there was a feeling that everything was done with care and a personal touch. The staff couldn't do enough and the food and drink was amazing. They hosted a cooking lesson and a homemade pizza night with a guitar, music and dancing. There are lots of lovely walks around, an old monastery, a church and you can hike to the top of the nearby mountain. The venue is usually used for weddings and you can see why. My only negatives were - the coffee machine upstairs never worked, and my room was card activated and working intermittently, so I had to ask to enter each time, and they weren't able to give me a key which would have been easier. However, I would definitely visit again. Grazie :)

Hi,
Better being safe, hire a car!
Villa Euchelia's key selling point is its remoteness, even though the train from Rome passes by quite closely.
I'm so envious of you, we'd love to be going back! It's a real food-lovers paradise. But, you will get bored without being able to jump in a car and have your own freedom. It's not a "touristy" place, so public transport cannot be relied upon. The trains are cheap, fast and comfortable, but for heading South from Rome, the Ciampino airport would have been easier.
