We arrived at The Elms near the end of my trip (the last week of May), and it was, as my title states, by FAR the greatest place my friend and I stayed. (We stayed in 10 different locations in the 2 weeks) The hosts, Eileen and Chris, were so wonderful! I felt at home as soon as I walked... More

This was our first B&B in Scotland, and set the benchmark very high :) The hosts are very nice, room was clean and lovely. For breakfast we could choose from typical scottish breakfast or choice of cheeses - we tried both and both were very tasty. They recommended us a very nice restaurant. One little thing to improve is wi-fi... More

Just had a three night stay at the Elms. It was excellent...... Great price. Lovely twin room. Excellent Veggie Breakfast (I'm not a veggie but it didn't matter, the food was lovely) Dufftown has good pubs and excellent restaurants. It is a beautiful little town in a fabulous area. The best of the experience was without doubt the hospitality shown... More

During our three week tour of England and Scotland, The Elms was the best B & B we stayed in. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. Eileen gave us a very friendly welcome and helped answer all our questions about where to eat and things to do. Chris came by later with a welcoming scotch. My husband... More

We came across ‘The Elms B&B’ on our way through Dufftown in early-October. The owner, Eileen, gave us a very warm welcome and we felt immediately at home. The Victorian house is lovely, with plenty of period fixtures and character. Our double bedroom was large, with a comfortable King bed and had several extra amenities that we really appreciated. Breakfast... More

My wife and I stayed one night at The Elms in Dufftown. It is located in central Dufftown in the heart of the Speyside whiskey region. We were particularly pleased with the professional couple who owned the B&B. They were very knowledgeable about the local whiskey industry and able to provide advice on how to best spend our time exploring... More

We staid only one night in Chris and Eileens wonderful victorian house but enjoyed it a lot. Clean room and no problems with the shared bathroom plus a good breakfast made it a good choice. There is an extra dining room for people who bring their own cold or take-away food in the evening with them. Miss Sophie the cat... More

The Elms is an excellent B&B. Eileen and Chris were very welcoming and helped us find our way through Dufftown and destilleries. All recommendations were great. Besides an impeccable B&B The Elms also offers a small dining room with fridge that can be used for 'home dining'. we would love to visit again and recommend this great B&B.
