We couldn’t have been happier with our stay here. Everything is clean and beautiful. The garden, the pool, the breakfast room, the lounge area, and the rooms. It’s the best of both worlds, the convenience of a hotel with a fresh, daily breakfast and staff to make the room, but the feeling of a small, friendly atmosphere. The other guests were delightful and respectful but also family friendly and children were free to play in the garden and pool. The port and shopping area is walkable in just a few minutes. There was a lovely weekly market. Carnac and other beaches are just a few minutes drive.

Lovely place, delightful rooms, very pleasant welcome from all the staff. Nice garden and pool area, though the pool is not very big, it's enough to cool off on a hot day. Can be a bit confusing to find it the first time, but follow the signs and you will get there!

This is a small town in Brittany and the hotel was chosen due to its rating here. Our superior room was very small with tiny beds and very inadequate closet/storage space. The bathroom had been redone but also had limited places to put stuff. Public spaces nice and well done and breakfast Ok. Way too costly for what we got. Best was dinner and other recommendations from Jill at the desk and the lovely owner.

It was supposed to be a cherry on the top of our romantic trip and somehow I thought you cannot go wrong with 300 Eur a night (breakfast not included) suite.... well you can. Oh! You can! The view of the suite was on the road with cars parked just below the ‘romantic’ terrace (not pretty and quite noisy when the cars are being parked early in the morning). The room decor, the furniture would be ok for a simple hotel, but very much underrated for the 4 star hotel. It now explains the very few photos on the website. The green area of the inner yard could be a plus, but all other rooms bedroom windows are giving to it, there is no privacy, you feel exposed, hence nobody is sitting there. The swimming pool was another reason I chose this place, on the photos it didn’t look so tiny... I didn’t get to try it at the end. Breakfast looked also very poor so we opted to drive to Vannes to eat it there. Well, I could have planned my trip better! I loved the surroundings, but the choice of this hotel was a big mistake and a huge disappointment. PS. I did not have a chance to share my feedback with the administration of the place as there was nobody at the desk when we were leaving (took me a while to find a nice cleaning lady to handle her the keys and to advise that we checked out)…

Dear Elena F, Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry you felt this way about our hotel and your stay. The Suite you had is indeed one of our most romantic one as the terrace does not overlook the garden and is quite private. It does have an outlook on a small parking lot but it is usually very calm and quiet as it is a narrow road and cars do not usually drive by. We are sorry you found it noisy. The decoration is one of the things people usually like most about the Lodge Kerisper as it is very personal and close to our hearts. The owners bought most of it off bric-a-brac shops and made it look as comfortable as possible. The dimensions of the swimming pool (7m x 3m) are written on our website but we are once again sorry that you found it too small. Our breakfast is a buffet on which you can find cold meat, cheese, hard-boiled eggs as well as most “normal” breakfast items such as cereals, bread, pastries, … we are usually told it is a nice breakfast but it cannot please everyone. Once again, we are sorry you did not think it was good enough and will take into consideration all your remarks so we can get better next time. Finally, we are sorry you did not get to see anyone before you left; the Reception is open from 9am to 9pm and, had we known you were leaving early, we would have tried to see you the day before to make sure everything was fine. I booked a couple of nights in one of the suite, ready to pay a substantial amount to celebrate a wedding anniversary. Place was nice, friendly staff with good advise, cute little garden not offering any privacy. I would have been ok with the stay if I did not pay 600 euros for 2 nights ( breakfast not included!). Or impressions were that the level of finishing and overall feel of the room did not at all correspond to the price. This looked like a standard hotel room I usually would pay 100 euros per night for. Left us with quite a bitter feeling.

We are the only 4-star independent hotel in La Trinité-sur-Mer, a city that is famous for its harbor and its seasonal activity therefore have prices that can be felt like quite high. Regarding the garden, it is a small garden that people usually like because of its design, the colors and the flowers even though most rooms overlook it. We had a relaxing stay in this lovely hotel. The location was very peaceful but you were only a 5 minute walk from the water front. We particularly enjoyed the use of the pool, the opportunity to have a drink on the patio & the lovely breakfast that was served in the conservatory which overlooked the beautiful garden & pool. The owners were very welcoming & Philippe even helped us out when our car failed to start when we were about to leave at the end of our stay! Thoroughly recommend this hotel!

If we had the money to completely redecorate our house we would want it to look exactly like this wonderful hotel. It has a simple elegance with a loving attention to detail. It is a comfortable place where you settle in and just don't want to leave. We were a party of 10. My husband and three teenage children had one family room with a king bed and a separate room with three twins. My brother and his family of four had a room with a King bed and double bed and my mom had her own room. All were decorated beautifully and were immaculately clean. There is a lovely sitting room/bar and a sunny room where breakfast is served. Each room had a lovely terrace. We had no time to use the pool but it looked very nice. The hotel is a 5 minute walk into the charming town of Trinite Sur Mer, with restaurants, shops, a supermarket, great ice-cream and a very nice little port. The hotel is also a short drive to Carnac, standing stones and the lovely beaches of both Carnac and Quiberon. The Lodge is a little on the pricey side, but worth it. One minor suggestion is that it would be great if breakfast was included. The innkeepers are friendly and helpful, as is their staff. We didn't want to leave and hope to return some day to this beautiful, peaceful hotel.…

After a road trip around the Dordogne and Bordeaux we found this gem of a hotel - a very chilled, clean and comfortable hotel with wonderful staff. As a family we shared room 20 which we loved - with one of our boys in the room and the other in the passage outside - we all slept well! My wife adored it, with the only comment being that perhaps there could have been flannels in the room. The pool is great to have - albeit very small, but ideal for two young boys. The hotel offers a breakfast which is excellent and sets you up well for the day ahead. We spent our three days on various sandy beaches around Carnac (the weather was low 20’s) - and in the evening headed off to various local restaurants. We love seafood and the French vino so we’re well provided for! At the time of writing the £ v € was fairly terrible so everything felt pretty expensive, but at least we were well looked after! …

We stayed for three nights in August, having booked a superior room, at a cost of €702, including breakfast. As others have said, it is a nice place, in a great location. We had a warm welcome from the owner, who explained the various sightseeing options we had available. Breakfast, at €15 per person is a good selection of fruits, compotes, breads, crepes, cereals etc., served in the dining room. Our first room (we had expected to have only one room!) was small but comfortable, on the first floor, with a terrace. The terrace is equipped with chairs and deck chairs. It got very stuffy overnight, and the only option for ventilation was to open the doors onto the terrace - there was no window or A/C. The hotel seemed fairly secure although our terrace was easily accessible from the next door terrace. On our return to the hotel on our third day the receptionist announced that we had been moved to a different room. We hadn't been consulted about this beforehand, and weren't too happy about that. The new room was on the ground floor and again, the only option for ventilation is to open the doors onto the shared courtyard, where any of the guests and staff can wander. Not very secure. Also, the showers are in the baths. The first room had a wall mounted shower holder, which was fine, the second had no holder so you have to hold it in one hand whilst trying to soap and wash yourself. Not good! We had a pleasant stay, its an easy walk into the port, there is good parking and it is a tranquil spot. I have given it a three score due to the price/value for money aspect (it would be fine at around €150 per night), the lack of A/C/ventilation and the way we were moved around with no consultation.…

I am deeply sorry that you had not been informed about the room-changing situation on the third night, it was probably a misunderstanding and that you did not think the second room was safe enough. Please know that all common spaces are video-monitored in case anything happens (but it never does). Finally, we take note of the A/C situation although Britanny is never as hot and humid as it was during Summer 2019. Most hotels in the area don’t have A/C but we could have provided you with a fan if you had asked for one.
