After spending seven hours in cardiff airport badly let down by TUI after they cancelled our flight and rescheduled it for the following day, we were so grateful to be rescued by Gerald who came within two minutes to pick us up after explaining all to Sharon. Had a wonderful evening in a wonderful little hotel, can’t thank these people enough for their warmth and kindness looking forward to seeing you both again.

What can I say, Sharon and Gerald are fabulous hosts, very welcoming, treated like old friends, nothing was too much trouble for them. Room spacious and spotless, the breakfast on offer was unbelievable from cereals to full English there was not one thing you could have wanted that wasn’t there, Gerald’s scrambled eggs are to die for. We will certainly be back, we even had a cwtch on leaving. Thank you both

Great location, great owners Gerald and Sharon who's aim is to please and unusual in that unlike many other shameless, exploitative proprietors and Corporates who have suffered no more than most of us through the Pandemic, rather than fleece a 'desperate to get away' public, they choose to keep prices more than reasonable. They put others to shame in the same line of business but make no mistake, it is noted by their loyal, appreciative customers who will return at some time or other! Expect to mix with an eclectic group of people either staying in the excellent hotel or out on the touring field behind a well kept canopy of surrounding trees. My family were present amongst military engineers who were accomodated for a few days while changing an engine in a stricken Chinook helicopter nearby at the Cardiff Airport facilities to regular customers, commercial airline pilots and private jet cabin staff. The touring field has a lovely atmosphere as does the hotel with Gerald mainly the Ringmaster always managing to solve any problem a customer, experienced or not, may have just as Sharon and both work seamlessly to make sure their hotel guests have a comfortable stay. This corner of South Wales used to be the country's best kept secret but sadly, the cat is well and truly out the bag now!! Thanks both of you, Pete and family.

Honestly, one of the most welcoming, friendly and helpful host I’ve ever experienced. Sharon made the visit so good - offering lovely home cooked food, local advice and even to wash our clothes. I will most definitely be coming back.
