We arrived to a cold room, no hot water in shower, no toilet roll, no soap and to top it up, couldn't make a cuppa as the milk in the fridge was over 2 weeks out of date and curdled! The carpets were grotty, but the bed was clean and comfortable. We asked to have the heating on, but then...

My stay at the squirrel Inn was really nice there were friendly locals, staff and owners. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated and the service we recieved was excellent, we couldn't of asked for more. The beer was well kept. the only gripe was the key did not fit the lock after hours/ but was attended to. Over all good value for money. Ps Liked...

The outside appearence was o .k . on arrival but it became clear on seeing our room that this was far fron good. The room had a very shabby and dirty carpet, unironed bedding , no wardrobe only a hanging rail...
