I stayed here for two nights as I was in the area for a wedding. I came with my mother and sister and we were given the whole top floor of the guest house which was lovely for privacy. The room was very clean and the decor was simple but fresh. In the bathroom they provided shampoo and shower washes...

Wonderful, cosy and friendly B&B with very nice rooms (some en suite) and excellent breakfast. A friendly welcome from Catherine and James and we certainly hope to return before too long. The location is perfect and although we had a room on the front (the High Street) it was quite peaceful during the night.

Within easy walking distance of the town centre, this guest house offers the most home like experience ever. Host Katherine was warm and accommodating. The sitting/ TV/ games room is inviting, softly lit and cosy. Each room one enters has fresh flowers and is thoughtfully appointed. The knee rug in the family room was appreciated. My husband enjoyed his TV...

We have just stayed here whilst visiting family. We had a warm welcome from the owners and were greeted with tea and biscuits on our arrival. We parked off road behind the B&B which was great. We had a twin room with ensuite which was perfect. I'm a bit OCD with cleanliness so this place was perfect as spotlessly clean....

Katherine and James gave such a warm welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The cottage is very charming and the photos do not do the rooms justice. Breakfast was also delicious - I would highly recommend the full English!

Haven't really been in many B&B's so wasnt sure what to expect but Ammonite Lodge was lovely. Katherine and James were very friendly and very welcoming nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was fantastic and they even catered for my gluten free diet. Definitely worth a visit. Only 1 tiny problem was the road noise but if you ask for...

One of the bestB&B I have stayed in. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners James and Katherine. The place is spotless with lovely little touches all over. The rooms are clean with high class linen and bath towels and so welcoming. Breakfast is awesome with fruits, cereals and cooked to order meals. Go! You won't be disappointed.
