The rooms were nicely decorated with high ceilings. It's got great character as it is an old house. Good shower and toilet facilities. Nice communal areas to child out. Staff were lovely and friendly , and warm and welcoming. They will do what they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Close to old city, new city centre. Lots of placed to eat within walking distance

Our stay here was comfortable and homely. We had everything we needed (and more) during our stay: * warm welcome from all local staff * comfortable beds * cosy and inviting communal areas * effective air conditioning * use of well equipped kitchen * beautiful outdoor seating areas * regular cleaning and bed changing facilities I cannot praise this establishment highly enough. It was just plain wonderful. The local people made us feel so welcomed and we were treated like family members here without it feeling too close. There are several areas within the hotel's grounds where one can go to read quietly etc. The roof has fantastic panoramic views over the entire city. Our room had a fridge, tv, a writing desk and chairs. It had very high ceilings and large windows with deep window sills on two walls. The house has been refurbished recently and great attention has been paid to restoring the beautiful details of the local architecture. Lamar is only a few minutes walk from the old city within Hebron which is a UNESCO site so well worth a visit. The main street in Hebron (Ein Sara) is a five minute walk away and the bustling centre of Palestinian life where every day you are guaranteed to get into conversation with one of the friendly locals. Local transport is easily available and links to other towns and cities are plentiful. This was an ideal base to travel from. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. Anyone who stays here will come away feeling that they want to return.

This hostel is charming, in a great location near to the old city. The rooms are modern and clean with televisions . There are shared bathrooms with showers. It has a large kitchen where you can prepare food yourself but why you would want to when they can cook such great food for you. The staff are extremely helpful and can’t do enough for you. People who are interested in hiking it’s a great place to visit these can be arranged be arranged by Abd who speaks really good English. Hebron is often described by people as unsafe to visit which is so not true. Everyone is so friendly.

Lamar Guesthouse is a great place to stay in Hebron. It's located within walking distance of all the major sites in Hebron's old city; the building and rooms are beautiful; and the owner is very helpful. Highly recommended if you're visiting Hebron!

New place opened in 2016. The owner, Hisham, is very friendly and helpful He will show you around the town to show you the horrible situation imposed on the poor Palestinians by the occupation israeli force . The rooms are clean and good. The kitchen is nice and you can neat a nice traditional breakfast The bed is good and there is TV. Hebron (al Khalil in Arabic) is an important town because you can witness the illegal occupation of Palestine by israeli : be prepared, there are violent settlers who took control of houses and streets in Hebron in the middle of this palestinian town. Most of the settlers are from America or France !!! They don't even come from the middle East Hebron is a conservative city so ladies should dress in a modest way (not showing knees and elbows) But people are nice. Except the settlers......
