Mo is incredible person - his place is a must-stay if you're traveling to Hebron. His place is right across from the University of Hebron, so it's always easy to make your way back to. He's the most welcoming guy, is really easy going, and is happy to help you navigate Hebron if you want. To stay with a local Palestinian is great enough, but Mo just might be the nicest, coolest person I met in Palestine. Would highly, highly recommend, for people of all backgrounds.

I stayed at Mo's place for 2 nights and seriously could not have had a more amazing time. Immediately I felt at home with him. Some other guests and I made dinner with him, mixing cuisine from all of our backgrounds. He's in a very easy spot to see the old city and the neighborhood is nice to just walk around. People especially the kids are super friendly. The best part of it all though is Mo. I left Palestine with a great friend. He's positively an amazing spirit that makes this world as great as it is. I am glad that I got to leave my mark on his wall because he left his mark on me. :)

This place is listed as a hostel but I rented a bed at Mo's Place for 2 months as I was performing research in the West Bank. The dorm is very centrally located in the city close to social and shopping venues and great falafel/hummus. It is easy to get around in the city from Mo's Place, but it is a cheap (<$0.50) 5-10 minute ride to the main bus station to catch buses to Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Ramallah, Jericho, and the villages and refugee camps between them. Mo is an excellent host and was always very kind to talk about Palestine and share what he had with me and the other guests I encountered during my stay there. The main wall in the dorm is written up with notes from guests, a testimony to his kindness and personality. As a female traveling alone I never did feel uncomfortable at Mo's or in the Hebron area. I would give my experience 5 stars. …
