Detailed Reviews
I recently had the opportunity to stay at Cebu White Sands Beach Resort during the weekend, and I'd like to share my experience with you. My family and I availed their promo rate for two rooms, which was a fantastic 40% discount from their regular rates. Given the discounted rate, the resort offered a fair experience in terms of food, amenities, and rooms.
We stayed in the Family Room in the Heritage Wing, which, unfortunately, had a few shortcomings. One notable issue was the electrical socket in the coffee area, which wasn't working during our stay. We had to resort to boiling water on the floor while waiting for an extension wire to arrive after reporting the issue to the reception. I understand that the Heritage Wing is the resort's oldest cluster of rooms, but it's essential for management to proactively maintain and upgrade these areas to ensure guests' comfort and convenience. On the positive side, the room had ample space and a contemporary-style bathroom that was delightful.
Our room was located at the back side of the Heritage Wing, offering a view of the fence and residential homes beside the resort. Initially, the reservation team had selected a better room with a garden and partial pool view, but due to accessibility issues for my senior father, we had to settle for the room we stayed in. Unfortunately, there was no elevator, which was a notable inconvenience. The resort should consider improving the room or offering it at a lower, more reasonable price.
The location of our room was also less than ideal, as just right outside the door, was an old concrete stairway leading to another room, which gave off a spooky and unwelcoming vibe.
The breakfast food was average, and while it didn't stand out, it was decent. However, the highlight of our stay was the exceptional customer service. The staff displayed warm hospitality and courteousness, which significantly improved the overall experience. I hope that the management appreciates and takes care of their staff as much as these dedicated individuals take care of their guests. Overall, Cebu White Sands Beach Resort has the potential to offer a great experience, but there are some improvements needed to match the warmth and service of its staff.

Had a wonderful stay here with my family for the long weekend. It's a good place for family with kids. They have two pools both with jacuzzi. Lucky enough that our room is located near the smaller pool, perfect for kids. (4FT)
Everyone is welcoming and accommodating and showed an exceptional customer service.
I'd like to share some of my observations though:
- Breakfast buffet was never full, it's always missing some food on the line and when they refill it, it's never enough for the amount of guests eating in their restaurant. Just by 8am, almost all foods are empty, no fruits, no breads and even juice.
- Literally a small area for swimming in the beach where pumpboats are parked but the white sands are great so you can still play with your kids.
- I've seen lifeguards cleaning the pool but still it's dirty, they need to use smaller strainer basket.
We appreciate that the resort allows us to buy food from outside.
We are happy during our stay so we will definitely be back.

We spent just a night at Cebu White Sands coming back from Moalboal and really enjoyed our stay here. The compound is beautiful with a lot of greenery and it has its own beach. While the beach is slightly small, it is generally sufficient and the vast green compound ensures that it doesn’t seem too crowded even when the hotel is at full capacity. The massage is really great as well, with the therapists knowledgeable and the ambience relaxing as you can hear the waves and the birds amidst getting a massage.

I think this place is trying to save money and milk every penny they can out of there customers. So yes I no there was a typhoon in December but 2 months later they not advertise what the hotel facilities are available. So no tv in the room no internet in room and lucky if you find it any where in the resort.
When we checked in there was dirty plates with left over food on in the corridor was there a day later.
I asked for house keeping they say government rules cannot clean until we been there 3 days now all the other hotels we stay at do not have these rules
As for the swimming pool that had no water in it so how can you use that and the hotel roof top bar that is also closed so mainly you have a room in a over priced resort with no facilities
Food and drinks are so expensive in this place

We booked for our stay at the property for the period Oct 16-19, 2023 & when we found out that smoking is NOT permitted at the balcony of our room, we requested for a waiver of the cancellation charge to which it was rejected. There are more than 2 weeks before our stay & yet the hotel refuses to allow for a cancellation. How ridiculous is this?? Since we have NO option we are forced to go ahead with the stay & we certain DO NOT look forward to it..

I had a quiet and relaxing one night stay at Cebu White Sands. The weather was cold and rainy but the ambience of the place is really great. The staff are accommodating and the place is not packed with guests.
There are two pools to choose from, the main pool whoch is bigger and the Courtyard pool which is more quiet and smaller. The beach is nice and I spent the night drinking beer by the shore.
Overall this is a nice place for a short getaway but its just overshadowed by some of the bigger resorts like Bluewaters and Solea maybe because its not being advertised as much.
Hope the spa will open soon because I’m dying to get a massage.

What I love the most about this resort is the superb customer service. All of the staff are very prompt and polite. Over all, the experience was great even though we were not able to swim at the beach because it was low tide the whole day and swimming time is limited which we understand for everybody's safety.

Had bad asthma and allergy attack during my stay as the ac was mouldy, filthy with black dusts so imagine breathing this air in an enclosed space. The rooms smell of either pipes or uncleaned ac. They moved us to another room which was a bit better but was still smelly. The hot water is not hot for tub so if you want to relax in a tub youre gonna have to soak in room temp to cold water. The bed was hard and I had bad hip and back pain from the bed. I got sick during my stay. Not staying again. I usually dont write reviews or give negative comments but the basics of relaxing stay is just not there. If you want to snorel youre gonna have to go far off. The rooms are dated.
The place is quiet and green. It feels private. And the toiletries are nice. But wont be staying again.

I arrived a little early before the standard checkin time of 2pm, but Ann and her manager i think at her back was very very helpfull to accomodate me and gave me a room with a view wow! Staffs are very helpful and always greeting me and cheerful.

We spent our Christmas Days there. Found out many families from other countries like to do this, too! And Cebu White Sands Resort and Spa is just the place to go, with its well decorated Filipiniana Christmas atmosphere and heartwarming welcoming Staff, you can’t help but feel at home!
Their Spa massage treatment is very well comforting that you would fall as sleep! They have boating sevice, ski and jet ski services and scuba diving, too. As a whole, we will be back to enjoy the Spa, the food, the amenities, too!

Unfortunately, the beach at White Sands Resort is not ideal for swimming or snorkeling. On the other hand, scuba divers are ideal to sail on the Banca boat for boat diving.
Hi
I do not know, I did not take a taxi
Have a great day!
Me personally, I do not, however I'm sure the resort may do.
