Mattress would be a penal colony reject——towells have capability to sand wood——and the less said about ADVERTIZED breakfast the better. Comparison with any motel a short trip down the highway in Swift Current for the same price is a no brainer.

If you're passing through Sask and need a stop (and if you've driven through Sask before you know what I mean) - this place meets the need. No frills; good service; clean; reasonable price. The 'breakfast' is now a pedestrian go bag with a couple things. Hopefully change will come again when Covid BS subsides. Would recommend given the above.

This is a lovely hotel. What a surprise to find it in little Carenport. CLEAN. And... free breakfast is advertised and they actually provided avsg breakfast in the morning. Lots of room to walk the dog in the back.

We stayed for a night at Pilgrim Inn, pulling off the road earlier than usual because of a tornado warning. There are 2 floors at this hotel. It has very nice staff and spacious rooms. The room included a small fridge, microwave, coffeemaker and satellite tv. There was a carafe of coffee available in the lobby. The beds were ok, one did have a rather creaky box spring. The bathroom was modern, and had very good shelf space. The shower was great. The only annoying thing was the fan, because it is on the same switch as the bathroom light, so we couldn't escape the noise when simply grooming. One of the windows in the room was a bit warped and caused a whistling sound when the high winds hit. Hotel staff helped to stuff the window with a towel and also passed out flashlights to all rooms in case the power went out. The sky turned dark and the wind was quite strong; the power did go out briefly. Breakfast was available in a spacious common room; it had fruit, yogurts, fruit in syrup, waffle station, cereals, bagels, mini muffins, coffee, tea, and toast. There is a Husky station and Subway nearby. It is just off of the TC, but still quiet. $99. for our stay.

Sure thing: clean, comfortable, reasonable, and will take pets. Not much in the vicinity, but for us, it's exactly half way between, on what would otherwise be a 14 hour journey. A choice of food deliveries only takes about 15 minutes from MooseJaw. Quiet and restful.
