Stayed here mid July for almost a week. It made a great base to visit Tuscany (visiting Siena (30 min), Florence (45 min), Monterrigiano (15 min), San Gimignono (16min) Montepluciano and Pienza (Val Dorca) (1 hr) and Rome (2:45min) Like others have said you feel like you are in the country side but you can quickly walk to the old...

I wanted to give this place five stars, but the heat didn't work, and the wi-if was weak and intermittent. Otherwise it's a great place to stay. The staff is great, and it's only a short walk to the old part of the city. Big rooms and comfy beds. There's plenty of free parking.

I went there for a special occasion: a school reunion with friends coming from another continent so the expectation was high that everything would work out well...And it was more than perfect!!! The owners Enrica and Ilaria made us feel like part of the family. The rooms were very confortable, with a country side atmosphere. I would go back even...

We stayed one night here after visiting Siena and San Gimignano - two absolutely wonderful Tuscan towns. Our next stop was to the Chianti region. So Tana de Lepri in Colle Val d'Elsa was a perfect location for an overnight stop. The apartment units are in a converted 18th-century monastery. The garden and grounds are pretty and secluded. Our apartment...

We spent two nights at this incredible place. It was an old monastery, then a farm house and now a residence. Our spacious room (living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom) was on the ground floor. It was a bit cool as it was October but this room would be wonderful during the very hot summer months. There were a couple...

Incredibly lucky to find this wonderful spot on the day of our arrival in Florence, as we winged every day of our trip. In our 10 weeks of travelling, this was certainly the highlight of our trip, Erika was the most wonderful of hosts, nothing was too much trouble, We felt it was a very authentic tuscan villa, and the...

Spent 1 week in mid October, 2013. What a great place to find. The apartment was very good value for money, good sized bedroom, bathroom, lounge and kitchen. Enrica was a wonderful host, she met us when we arrived and showed us a pick of apartments, also recommending places to go. It was a great base to visit most of...

I'm late writing this, but my husband and I stayed here last year. We spent a week at Tana de'Lepri and it was an amazing stay, we would definitely recommend it. The ladies that run this place are fantastic, and that's what truly makes it a wonderful place to stay. As a surprise for my husband I asked if they...

“Rooms on the ground floor are probably coolest though the upstairs may have a bit more privacy. I suggest that you simply correspond with Enrica about your preferences and she will find the right apartment for you. I think there are only 8, in total.”
