Right across from the train station in the centre of town. Great location. Nice rooms, comfortable beds and good shower. Walls may be a little thin between rooms but overall good hotel with lovely staff and good choice of hot breakfast for coeliac so happy days. .

I booked this hotel over the phone and paid by credit card. The hotel is opposite the station so easy to find and great for trail travelers. On arrival we went to the bar and asked where to check in. There was no proper welcome, information was not clearly communicated and we were not shown our room. The room was...

This is a busy little place and was bustling with breakfast visitors and mums with small people. It has a nice feel. It's also steps away from the station and very handy. There was a warm welcome and nice coffee while I waited for my lunch partner. The menu is diverse and everything is home made. I opted for steak...

The staff are extremely friendly and I had a lovely pint of Moorhouses for £2.90, which is quite cheap. I had fish and chips for dinner, the chips weren't quite cooked. Then I went to my room and it had a feint smell of drains/urine or something which wasn't noticeable after a while. The toilet seat had 2 cracks in...

A group of us needed rooms as part of a walking trip. We received a grumpy reception. She seemed displeased when we reminded her that we had a dog. She informed us of an extra charge (not mentioned in the booking process). Overall standards were dodgy: a bedroom light bulb was missing and the landing light wasn't working. The vacuum...

I caught the train to Todmorden which dropped me off right outside this hotel. I waited for 2 hours and my lift never arrived, my phone had died and I was exhausted. The only thing I could think to do was go in the pub and ask if anyone had a charger so I could contact someone to come and...

Good price for a most convenient location ,clean room, with everything you need excellent breakfast and helpful staff . We were visiting family in the area and enjoyed a trip round the countryside in this area. The hotel is situated next to the station so couldn't be better for travellers by train. Would be happy to stay again

In August we held our daughters wedding and evening reception at The Queen Hotel. The staff worked really hard, setting up the room the night before, when they hotel had closed. The room was decorated beautifully. Attention to detail was excellent. The Carvery for the Wedding meal was freshly prepared and enjoyed by all our guests. We were given fantastic...

I was born and brought up in Todmorden and 'The Queen' was THE hotel and always the best. When we drove up to park outside I have to say my heart sank when I saw the outside with a few letters missing form the sign and a generally run down appearance. I really wanted to get back in the car...

Last minute booking after our original choice let us down. Staff could not have been more accommodating, organised decoration of our table and ensured everything was ready for our arrival. Good choice of drinks and food. Food lovely - all freshly made - good homemade food - delicious. Had to wait a while for the food to come but there...
