Two couples stayed in the cottage and the other ten people in our party stayed in the main hotel. The service and attention to detail was outstanding. I had been planning this birthday surprise for my husband with David's help for quite a while. Everything went to plan, the birthday dinner was amazing. Thankyou to Crossways for making the birthday...

Wishing Well Cottage is a superb little place. Surprisingly quiet given that its on the A27 with a deceptively large and secluded garden out back. And when inside, its all there; snug sitting room, open kitchen and a patio for cups of tea and reading the papers in the morning. The bedrooms are cosy and clean and the bathrooms -...

Spent 1 night at this lovely hotel in a single room, which was wonderfully comfortable, just what I needed after a hectic day visiting relations in the area. The room was at the back and very quite even though I had the windows open all night. The breakfast in the morning was very good. A perfect place, in a beatitiful...

Thank you for another excellent visit, I'm only sorry that we could not stay longer. The welcome, the accommodation and the food were all first class, as usual. We hope to see you again next year if not before!

What really makes this place shine is the service. My mum and dad have been staying here for years and they have always rated it so highly, with the owners knowing them by name, even remembering their favourite wines and starters! I've eaten here several times and the food is impeccable. You feel like you've been transported back to a...

Celebrated our anniversary last Friday at Crossways Hotel. Booked in for the night and dinner. Dinner was excellent as always, good choice of starters, mains and puddings together with soup, petite fours and coffee. Wonderful value. Our room was lovely, beautifully fitted out with everything you could desire to make for a very comfortable stay. Traditional English breakfast, fruit juice,...

Yet another very relaxing night at Crossways, this time in their pleasant and roomy cottage over the road (not as difficult to cross as we had feared), As always the welcome was warm, the bedroom comfortable and the breakfast delicious.

Stayed overnight in the Wishing Well apartment which is across the A27 from the main hotel.Therein lies the rub - a very busy road, a good deal of road noise and on a warm night you cannot comfortably open any windows. Shame, because the accommodation was well-presented, the welcome very friendly, very convenient in terms of location and an excellent...

We found this amazing B&B by pure chance and we were so glad. A gem of a place with a warm welcome, excellent service and lovely facilities. The decor and cleanliness were perfect and we enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. We wanted to stay again after the first night and David offered us the self catering cottage over the...

The Crossways welcome is exceptional. I arrived late at night after a long drive but was greeted with warm smiles and made to feel very much at home. The accommodation is homely and comfortable; the food exceptional; the grounds lovely. I will stay again and often I hope.

“There are only about 8 rooms and I've been in just about all of them over the years. They are all spacious bar one which is still adequate for a one or two night stay. The 'honeymoon suite' is very large and has an outside balcony which is lovely to use if you go in the warmer months. ”
