This is not your normal hotel. At first glance it seems expensive. The rooms are fine but hardly luxurious. As you approach the house seems pretty but it is not a big manor house or a castle.. Yes, there is plenty of free parking and it is set amongst large gardens which run down to the sea.with great views but...

Had we known, we would have booked more than one night. Rob, Lawrence and Katie go out of their way to embrace and pamper you from the moment you arrive. Tea in the Blue Room with canapés before dinner, dinner was Isle of Mull lobster Thermidor with Mull cheddar glaze and in the morning was the real deal, full Scottish...

Down a spindly road, then down a muddy and bumpy dirt track, Tiroran House is remote, the choice of birders, hikers and otter spotters. In the evenings guests in their finest Barbour congregate in two pretty lounges to tell tall tales of close encounters with white-tailed eagles, hedgehogs and adders. They also talk of hair-raising experiences on Mull’s tricky roads....

This is a remote and peaceful hotel set in 62 acres of well nurtured gardens with a woodland path following a brook down to the shore. The owner and staff focus on ensuring that their guests have a relaxing time and want for nothing. We were in the Garden Room that is in the old laundry house. It is a...

We enjoyed our first visit to Tiroran and echo the accolades for Lawrence and Robert and family. The peaceful location is a major attraction and sense of achievement in actually finding the hotel which is beyond 'off the beaten track'! We were able to enjoy experience of sea eagle, golden eagles, otters etc and fine trips to Iona and Staffa...

The Tiroran House is an authentic country house nestled in a park on the shore of Loch Scridain, just about 30min by car from the ferry station Craignure. We stayed in Annexe 2, one of the small cottages. Our room offered plenty of space and was beautifully furnished. Next to free bottled water we had a cute tea and coffee...

Nice hotel with great attention to detail and decoration. We stayed in th epine room, w/o sea views. Very nice room and decoration but with a very small TV set that cannot be effectively watched form the bed. Hotel is placed in a secluded area in the isle of Mull, with very nice suroundings and at walking distance to one...

This hidden gem of an estate is a nature lover's paradise boasting stunning views of the loch, walks in the grounds and is a particularly excellent spot for seeing the famous white tailed eagles. We were welcomed with a glass of champagne and a friendly and helpful tour. The room (/suite) was large, cosy and comfortable. The food and wine...
