RELAX, UNWIND, TAKE in NATURE It was under a 10mins speed boat ride from the airport, so I was at my Overwater Villas within 15mins, they were kind enough to offer an early check in and late check out, depending on the departure flight. This is one of the bigger landmass properties so other then snorkelling, time at the beach, the lagoon I had a lovely time walking between the greenery. The Golf Buggies were always avail though but I just loved walking, swimming, jogging, playing footsal and a host of other water sports activities. Out of the 5 restaurants we really enjoyed our time at the Kakuni Hut and ofcourse the Anchorage Bar with its lovely open walls ambience and good food, attentive crew and amazing band in the nights. I would specially like to Thank Chef Chamara, who made all the meals delicious and kept us coming back for more. Best Place to Relax and spend some quality Family time Closest to the Airport Largest Land property

I have have been fortunate to stay at the resort for one week. It is extremely beautiful, clean, picturesque and even better than the photos. The staff are very friendly and the facilities are amazing. However, the pandemic has resulted in no-travel between islands unless you are willing to hire a resort boat for $200 for a one-way trip. I had to pay $400 a day to get to Male as I was there on a business trip. So, if you go, make sure that you have at least $200 a day for boat trips and $200 a person for dinner and lunch. Not the cheapest place, but still paradise.

Firstly, property is good. Beaches, rooms, and nature is good over here. But when you visit a 5 star property like marriott / Sheraton you expect a "WOW" experience. Which lacks so badly. Mainly because staff over here is not very courteous. First response to any request starts with big NO. Even small requests like reheating the food. Who says no to reheat the food? Secondly, for vegetarian people it's just salad and and breads. They do have indian restaurant for veg options but it's hardly 5-10 items. And because it is separate restaurant you cannot have indian food and then come to buffet for deserts and ice creams (because it's in the separate restaurant). Also, after cooking non veg pasta, sometimes they use the same vessel for preparing vegetarian pasta (i have seen once). On our last day, we wanted to book coupls spa, firstly they give you least preferred time. We wanted afternoon and they said no slots available till 8pm. In 5 minutes 7pm slot became available. We had photoshoot at 4 and then packing preparation as we were leaving next day. So we were thinking we're not gonna have spa, then they said wait 4pm seems available. And few requests later they made our booking for 1pm. I mean, this seems so unprofessional. Now i cannot trust them when they say some time slot is not available, it's just they want us to book their preferred time. Conclusion, i would have enjoyed more at taj or other resort where we could save hundreds of dollars compared to this. But thinking Sheraton would provide very welcoming holiday, i chose this over newer resorts. I have heard westin and other marriott resorts don't have these issues.

This place is located in a very picturesque part of Maldives. The sun-set and sun-rise are a treat to the eyes. You can stay beside the pool or the beach to chill and enjoy the weather and the view. This place is very calm and comforting. If you want to take a break from your hectic work, this is a place to go to. And not but the least, this place boasts of amazing and supporting staff - right from check-in staff, to chefs, buggy riders and kinds playing room staff. All are warm and friendly. They smile at you at all times, giving a sense of fulfilment. I would like to mention few names here who made our stay memorable - - Hamdhan - he remembered us as we came 2 years ago, helped us in room upgrades, informed us about the 20% F&B discount, clarified when paying by points and supported us even after we checked out - Abul Hussein, our buggy rider - he used to take us on buggy rides, helped us in room shifting and was always very friendly - Kishore, Anil, ,Siddesh and other restaurant staff - helped us arrange food for the baby and always made sure we got food on time. Without these people, the trip might not have been as memorable as it was now. At last, I would want to say that if there is a chance, stay in an ocean villa.
