We were a group of 12 visited Tobermory in October 2016. I stayed in room 35. We took up 34, 35, 36, 37, 18 and 28. My room 35 was one of the best, corner with good view of the harbour and the deck offered great view of both harbour and the open Lake. 34 is even better and the... More

Overall it is clean and comfortable. The newly renovated rooms with kitchenette provide everything you need to prepare your meals. So go for the renovated rooms as the old rooms are quite worn out. Hope they will finish all the renovation before next summer begins. The harbour view is fantastic and the location is close to supermarket, ferries, restaurants and... More

We picked this motel for an overnight stay to catch the ferry early next morning. We chose a room that overlooked the boardwalk & Harbour. It was well equipped with a microwave, coffee maker with coffee, sugar & whitener plus small refrigerator. The bathroom appeared to have been updated. Although we could hear the TV in an adjacent room; it... More

We were very happy with Quality / Price . The room was a normal size , Queen bed with a good mattress . The TV a little too small but a good selection of channels . Was a slight odor but we got used with it pretty fast. Nice property . I recommend it !

This was one of the cleanest smallest rooms, we have ever stayed in! The weather was great. Definitely would not want to be in this room on hot nights as there was no a/c. The queen bed was comfy but like a lot of older motels the walls are not sound proofed. The location is perfect for visiting Tobermory. The... More

My wife and I visited Tobermory on a weekday in Sept, Tobermory was very busy and many places were fully booked (book in advance). The Harbourside Motel had a couple of rooms free and for a reasonable $85 for a night. The motel is in a great location 50m from the dockside where the tourist boats moor; it's also 100m... More

Quaint hotel overlooking the harbour, well kept and tidy. Large deck overlooking the harbour for sightseeing. Room was great, a bit dated but in good shape, all in working order. Rate was $85 for the night so quite reasonable. We recommend and will stay here again. Some rooms do not have A/C.

Stayed here at the end of August for a little family vacation . Though the rooms are a bit dated - the motel and grounds were very clean . We had a room with two double beds and a sofa bed, microwave and mini fridge. Would have liked to have bigger beds but all in all the room was fine... More

We stayed here one night before catching the ferry to Manitoulin Island. Great room, comfortable beds, everything in good order. The rooms on the street side have drive up parking and the rooms on the other side face the bay. Quiet, clean, comfortable. What more could one ask?

We stayed in room 18 for two nights. The room has two single beds and one sofa bed. The sofa bed was so old and uncomfortable that I still have pain in my back. We paid $400 (Thursday and Friday night, it was not even weekend) and I think that for such an accomodation it was a rip off. Room... More
