The hotel was prominently located at one end of the Toyako Onsen area, which made it easily located and offers a clear view of the lake, hence the relative room pricing for respective views. Front desk staffs were helpful. However, the dinner and breakfast offerings were highly disappointing. Reviews and blog online that mentioned good about the meals were either...

The hotel offers you some brilliant views of the lake (if you choose the rooms facing the lake) and you will also be able to see the fireworks from your room. Room size is big and spacious for Japanese standards, however, despite us requesting for non-smoking rooms, we can still smell a bit of stale cigarette smoke in the room...

The room is moderate with tatami setup. But the main plus point was the buffet dinner & breakfast which offer a great varieties of food choices. Fireworks was demonstrated near the hotel every night from April to October. One of the good attraction!

This has to be the highlight of our trip. we travelled in a group of 9 from Sapporo to Hakodate and finally to Lake Toya. The rooms are spacious and with great view of the lake and mountains. The buffet dinner and breakfast is amazing with fabulous spread. Hokkaido crabs, scallops, beef, fish, noodles, etc. Unlimited supply of great food....

Lovely spread of buffet dinner and breakfast, but our one night stay here was spoilt by rain, Good onsen too. Friendly courteous staff too,who helped us wear the yukata for dinner. Place is huge and you need plans to get from north, south, east and west, so make sure you do not lose your plan or at least have a...

This was the hotel with the smallest hotel toilet I had ever seen. The triple room, on the other hand, that my children and mum occupied, was double the size of the double room/toilet and had a luxurious shower. The rooms were a little worn out. Other than that, it had spectacular views of the Lake and also the nightly...

It was lovely staying at the hotel. We had a room facing the lake (make sure you book the ones on the lakeside) and were treated to the daily fireworks at 8.45pm. Do note that the fireworks is not from a static location and moves along the lake. Best is to look out for the boat with a red siren...

The service I was received is the worst among the hotels I stay in Japan. I chose the half catering (breakfast and dinner inclusive) and reserved the 2nd time slot diiner(6:30pm). I was at the diiner venue at 6:10pm and was told that the hotel was over-received the guests. I was told to wait at my room and be informed...

Checking in was quick and there are 3 pools/places for onsen in the hotel. Male and female are separated of course and allocation of which pool changes so need to...

The room is quite big but the beds were on the floor which make it difficult to get up (I'm huge). The lighting in the room was quite dark, the room was quite old and a little bit smelly. The room equipped with heater. The restroom has bathtub and all necessary amenities. There is 24-hour onsen available. The room is...
