This has been one of our best experience. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and competent. The quality of the establishment is very high. I am really impressed that there is no TV in the rooms - good example that has to be followed. The food is great. The excursions and the support for organizing individual itineraries is very personalized...

I'm angry at myself for wasting 5 star reviews on other hotels in the past. This place is in a league of its own. The building itself is a work of art that perfectly bends with the landscape. Panoramic views from every room over a the lake and up at the mountains. You can watch the sunrise kiss the mountain...

We stayed 4 nights at Tierra Patagonia and 4 nights at Tierra Patagonia. One cannot help but compare the two properties, but it is really apples and oranges because the topography is SO different. The feel of both places is the same which is that you really feel welcomed and feel like you are "coming home" after a day of...

We find it strange that some of the reviews are below 5 stars. Perhaps we were lucky, perhaps as English speakers we tried a little harder than others with our Spanish? We cannot fault any aspect of the package we were presented with. The room was spacious enough, after all we're only sleeping and relaxing in it. The food was...

We stayed here 3 nights and went on hikes with the staff guides. This part of the staff are unquestionably the best in their business. The hikes were wonderful, the food was prepared to accommodate a variety of allergies. My raincoat was taken by another guest (and returned when they found it) so the staff lent me a guide raincoat....

The hotel and rooms are beautiful, and the staff and tour guides were very good. The food was average, given the cost of the rooms. Most hikes were a van ride of at least 45 minutes on gravel and some rougher roads, plan ahead for the time going and returning for morning/afternoon or full day hikes.

Dear Jim K: Thank you for your review! As you mention, Torres del Paine is vast and the attractions are spread throughout its 2400Km2 of landscape. We are happy to hear that you liked the hotel and that your overall experience at Tierra Patagonia was good. Warm regards, Cecilia - Guest Service.

Tierra Patagonia was everything we wanted out of our vacation! The hotel itself is incredible. Located on a secluded plain on the fringes of Torres del Paine national park, it has an end-of-the-world atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at peace. But, as amazing as the views and hotel are, it's truly the people that make Tierra Patagonia special. Each...

The lodge blends so seamlessly with the rolling steppe bordering Lake Sarmiento, that one's arrival is almost a surprise. Upon being ushered into the vast common room - sitting areas, bar, dining, game and meeting and areas all under one roof - the two most noteable features are: 1) the wall of windows providing a 180deg panorama of the steppe,...

ok, it is really hard to write this review. The building is amazing and truly (truly) extraordinary and worth coming just to experience this. Staff are similarly amazing.
