Unfortunately, my family had an awful experience at this hosteria. Despite the extremely beautiful and pleasant place, the cottage we stayed in had a useless heating: we had two sleepless nights. The wind came in through the cracks in the walls of the rooms and made the temperature became icy. If not enough, the bathroom was the coldest place in... More

Although, we were limited in accommodation options during our visit in the low season in May, we felt glad to stay at Hostería Lago Tyndall. It is located just outside the park and a very reasonably priced compared to many options inside the park. We rented a car to see more of the area and TDP. We arrived to after... More

Basics are there. Nothing more. Of course the location is the main advantage. The staff is helpful and speaking English. We had issues with paying the hotel: at the end of the saty when we had to pay we got much higher price. After 5 min Explanation the issue was resolved and we paid the right amount. The price is still... More

We had a pleasant stay here with a large, clean room and plenty of hot water. We were on a motorcycle trip through Patagonia and it would have been nice if we could get laundry service. The help was warm and friendly and spoke excellent English and the bar and the barkeep on the top floor was a great place... More

We were there for 5 nights while visited Torres del Paine - a wonderful place. We had a superior room, it was okay, nothing sepecial. But the people there all are friendly and helpful. Breakfast could be better! We had dinner there once - okay only. But who go to Torres del Paine for food?

We loved our cabin in Hosteria Lago Tyndall ! We stayed there for 2 nights with our two kids (5 and 8 at the time of the trip). We had one of the new two-bedrooms cabins. The cabin was really nice and modern, and – very important in that part of the world – very warm ! It had two... More

I balk at paying anything more than, say, $120 for a really NICE place. Such seems not to be in the cards for Torres del Paine National Park, at least in the summer. This was our second most expensive lodging ($160/ night) for one of the outside self-equipped cabins. We arrived at 11. It was a scuzzy day and skulking... More

the customer service at this hotel sucks, barely warm water, and the heater takes forever to heat up. the bio says 2km from park entrance but its actually about 10km. we used their transfer service and they were always late and couldn't even get a transfer sometimes. the bar closes at 11 but towards the end of the night workers... Lago Tyndall Hosteria is in a PERFECT location right outside of the park. The view as you drive into the hotel area is so beautiful, make sure to pull over and check it out at sunset. Yes it's a dated lodge, but I'd rather pay the cheaper prices and enjoy the rustic charm with the perfect view! We had a... More

very warm place with great staff. rooms are basic but most of the time you are out. the greatest thing about this hotel is its restaurant. the best dinners we had through the whole month in patagonia/ the prices are reasonable for this location in the park.
