I hesitated to rate between poor, average and very good because we had a wide range of experiences here. Excellent location close to the park and a great area for a walk around near all the cows, horses, dogs and cats that roam free. It's quaintly decorated with wood paneling and paintings of gauchos. When we checked in the man...

The location is great as you are outside the park but can easily drive to where you want to start hiking from. We stayed in Cabin 3 which had certainly seen better days but the view was very good. Unfortunately the oven wouldn't work and we were told we could move to cabin 2 (which we should have done but...

I rank this hotel as two stars because of the few things that on my opinion the most important one. First is customer service- 1 star. And the second one room it self. Me and my husband stay there only one night. We arrive at 9pm after an amazing 6 hours hike. We were tired and hungry( of course) They...

This two story hotel was a great place to stay right outside the park. Great views and a good breakfast to get you ready for a day of hiking Torres del Paine. Dinner is also served here so you do not need to worry about finding a quality food option as there really are very few restaurants to be found...

Short version: unfriendly staff, room wasn't clean at check-in but was for the rest of our stay, great views, close to the park, and expensive for what you get - but everything here is. The staff was overwhelmingly unhelpful and unfriendly, especially at the front desk. The one exception to this was our waitress one night at dinner - Alejandra...

We ( 3 of us in our 60s) stayed in cabana 3 and we were pleasantly surprised. Having read some quite negative reviews we really did not know what to expect. OK the water wasn't that hot, but we had a lovely little cabin with a great view and enjoyed cooking our meals in the little kitchen. It was so...

As others have stated this is a remote area and expensive. We stayed in a room facing away from the lake and towards the cabana where the staff lives. The hotel looks like an old hotel with creaky wooden floors and not well insulated walls. We found it very noisy what with hearing people talking until 2 am upstairs, dogs...

Stayed in both cabanas as well as 2 person rooms for 4 days. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, for this alone it is worth a recommendation The Cabanas have a simple but well equiped kitchen, are warm and spacious with a nice basic interior & atmosphere. We cooked our own meal and this way we saved some money and...

I made a reservation. I cancelled the reservation before the deadline published in the confirmation and more than 30 days before the deadline. Yet, they still charged my credit card and refuse to refund me. I've disputed it with my credit card.

Our family of four adults stayed three nights in a cabin at Hotel Lago Tyndall in late November. We were not part of a tour and drove a rental car up from Punta Arenas. The staff was friendly and helpful, adding a day to our stay after I had mistakenly booked only two nights. The restaurant/bar were pleasant if unremarkable...
