Ecocamp is sort of an environmentally responsible (and really cool) cross between tent camping and staying in a nice hotel in a spectacular natural setting. It includes a choice of daily leisurely or intense guided hikes/excursions in Torres del Paine and really good food and drinks afterward in a fun, friendly environment. The single domes are a little Spartan and...

My wife and I stayed in a suite dome (no.5) for 3 nights. Firstly, with our transport from Punta Arenas we had to wait 2 hours at the airport for other passengers so we did not arrive at the camp until 9pm. I will try to highlight a few points as other reviews have accurately detailed the facilities, location and...

In total we stayed four nights at EcoCamp while completing the 7-day W-Trek in Torres del Paine National Park. The camp is set beautifully on top of a hill near the eastern entrance of the park which allows for spectacular views (especially at sunrise and sundowner) over the valley and on Los Cuernos. During our stay, we saw a small...

Rooms/domes - Ecocamp features domes that are not powered. However, these eco-friendly domes have a window that traps the heat during the day and hence the cold is never a problem. They are sufficiently roomy and incredibly charming. Facilities - there are communal bathrooms/toilets in a shape of a bigger dome. Shower pressure was always good and the hot water...

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 5-day Safari program. Many reviewers have already sung their praises about the location, the domes and the guides. Our guide Sara was really exceptional, knowledgeable, caring and passionate about the environment and the local people. I can't believe some of the negative comments. Maybe the issues have all been addressed since then. The...

I travelled with two other girls. We comfortably fit in the deluxe dome. It was great to have the bathroom facilities and fire. I can't imagine having to use a common bathroom when it's so dark outside. Food was great. Breakfast was eggs, sausage, veggies, meat, cheese and bread. Lunch was laid out for us to pack our own for...

Great place to explore the park! Unusual but very comfortable suites. Good spray in the shower and comfortable beds. Wood burning fireplaces are neat. Food and bar are excellent. Great staff. Can't imagine a better venus for Patagonia.

Just came back from a 7-day trek of the W Circuit with Ecocamp. The hiking was amazing -- very challenging (total of 70k in 4 days, with steep elevation change).
