Stayed for one night and ate in the evening as well. Room was quite large, plenty of space, everything worked as it should do. Could do with a little more attention such as table lamps to provide a few lighting options, shelves in the bathroom. Evening food was OK, but menu was quite limited, basically fried food plus a little... More

About 9 of us came here for my brother's birthday. We were promptly seated and given menus on arrival. We were served our starters in excellent time, a few of us choose the mushroom in wine sauce, which looked delicious. I had the prawn cocktail, which was just as appetising. The choice of mains were a little limited however we... More

Pre arranged family meal. 20 people for Sunday lunch. Meat and potatoes served on the plate, vegetables came round separately. By the time the vegetables and gravy arrived the meat and potatoes were cold. Generous size portions. Adult meal reasonable price. £6.25 for a kids meal bit steep I thought. We arrived in 4 cars parked at the back of... More

Lovely food, couldn't fault it and reasonably price. Just take a jumper if you're in the conservatory. We did ask for the heating on but it didn't happen otherwise I would have given full marks for the food.

Very clean; extremely helpful in all areas; great food; staff went out of their way to help us; rooms excellent value for the price; a very nice outlook from the dining area; confusing to locate the rear access for parking.

Came here with a friend, booked beforehand, quiet when we arrived so were able to sit were ever we wanted. Friendly staff both at the bar and waitressing staff. Enjoyable meal and reasonable priced, food was quick to arrive and plentiful. Will come here again.

A very pleasant atmosphere and quality food . Well worthy of being classed as a restaurant and very reasonable prices. A good experience for the whole family in the newly refurbished dining area. I would recommend.

Food was delicious. Especially the chicken pie which is the best I have ever had and I am a cook and a foodie. Beer garden is great but with an unfortunate view of a roundabout. Aberdare is not an affluent area but this pub does create a little oasis. Others in our party had great steaks and the Somerset chicken... More
