Average older hotel was clean but could use some updating. I stayed here for 5 nights for work. Shower pressure was awful. Room key cards would stop working every day but of course I wouldn’t discover it until getting to the room so each time I would have to go all the way back to the front desk to get a new one which was very annoying. By the 4th day I would just go straight to the front desk to get a new one.

The bed was comfy with nice sheets. The room had everything I needed. The only downside, no stopper for the bath tub. I had to use a face cloth to cover the sink hole.
Front desk were very helpful. And lastly, the meeting room we used was also comfortable. I was completely satisfied.

The first night all we could get was a single room. It was very basic but clean and I was surprised that the bed was comfortable. The shower switched from hot to cold water with no warning and it was inconvenient to not have a vanity in the bathroom. The heating worked well in the minus 36 degree weather.

The next night we got one of the better rooms with two queen beds facing the lake. It was larger and more comfortable although still basic with no vanity. The shower worked fine as did the heat.

The staff varied in their friendliness and attitude but all were responsive to questions and requests. The restaurant was surprisingly good.

It is not what it used to be and is out of date. It really needs a face lift. Heating and ventilation system is terrible. The restaurant is convenient and the food is pretty good. It seems to be understaffed especially during the breakfast period. The owners need to spend some money on the ventilation system the place needs someone to spend money on renovations. The staff are polite. I have stayed here many times over the years and the place is in a definite state of decay.

It is a challenge to stay in some smaller communities where options are limited - front desk was helpful and there is a decent restaurant on site.
The hotel is dated and needs an upgrade. Cleaning staff were very pleasant - good coffee and great toiletries provided.
The room had a fridge and a microwave so that was a bonus. Bed was decent and I slept well.

1. Toilet had fecal splatter
2. Someone elses hair in bath and on the bath walls about a foot above my head?!
3. Loud air conditioner
4. Stains on office chair
5. Faint scent of smoke
6. Generally run down and filthy.
7. Sink in bathroom blocked

Good points: Internet so I could write this review.

Spent two nights. Front desk and "manager" need major customer service training. Queen size bed had more curves and dips than a roller coaster at a six flags park. Restaurant was ok. Good friendly service. Way overpriced. But if u r one of the few places in town, u can hold folks hostage w prices

Quick overnight trip for me so didn't spend much time in the room. There was a smelly area rug on the floor that looked like it should just be burned. Besides that, the room was clean and had all the usual appointments of a hotel room - cable tv, blow dryer, shower with hot water. Staff were friendly and the room was a decent price. Some questionable characters in the parking lot made me hustle from the car to the hotel. I didn't find that there was a lot of noise outside my room.

Ok...folks...this is La Ronge were talking about so don't expect the Four Seasons.

All told - the rooms were clean, nothing broken, staff was friendly and accommodating and the hotel was quiet at night.

The in hotel restaurant was also great for breakfast. Sick of the crappy little $5 fruit cups you get anywhere - try their fruit platter. I think mine was around $5. It was a plate of fresh cut up fruit. That made my day.

Anyway - I'd stay there again. Price was $125/night before tax.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I got here. From the outside, this seems like your average older small-town hotel. Not much too look at, however I was pleasantly surprised by what I found on the inside. The lobby was simple and a bit dated, however the front desk staff were extremely courteous and helpful. I was greeted with warmth and felt very well taken care of the entire time during my stay. The business suite I stayed in was immaculately clean with upgraded bathroom fixtures and a very nice electric fireplace. It was definitely a cozy place to spend the evening after a long day at work.
