We had what comes close to the perfect stay at Hotel Neva. Friendly staff, good food and a location that is unbeatable. We are coming back guaranteed. The AC is perfect and not too aggressive and the octopus salat is to die for! A decently stocked bar with many great cognacs but it could use a couple of good rums.

The hotel is in a top location 20min to Split, directly on the beach with a parking lot for your car. The rooms have a nice view on the sea and it is not expensive. But… The hotel is old. The carpet in the room is tainted and old, and the room is missing a lot of amenities. Breakfast choice is very poor and the a la carte restaurant is very very slow on making food and not that great quality. Overall its a 3/5 because its cheep and good location but with a good investment this could easily be one of the best hotels in the area, shame.

I stayed at the Hotel Neva in Podstrana, Croatia for 3 nights in June 2019 and utterly enjoyed myself. The hotel faces the beach which, though somewhat narrow, is clean and pretty. The water was beautiful, practially turquoise and I often had the beach for myself. When not swimming in the sea, I sat around the two swimming pools admiring the lovely view overlooking the island of Braĉ. Breakfast was plentiful, with breads, cold cuts, cheese, hard boiled eggs, coffee and juices. Cereal was also provided and soymilk upon request for which I was most grateful. Being able to sip ones coffee or tea on the patio was simply delightful. I did not have dinner at the hotel, prefreing to discover local restaurants during the three nights I stayed at the hotel. My room was comfortable and large, offering a partial sea view. The bed and pillows made for pleasant sleeping and the bathroom – with a bathtub – was ever so nice. I enjoyed having a small fridge in the room but would have also liked having a safe. The staff was pleasant and helpful, offering to put in place an airport transfer for a very reasonable price. I can only highly recommend this hotel and will gladly return to spend another couple of lovely days in Podstrana.

I can not recommend this hotel enough. I travelled here with my friend and spent 4 blissful days here. The room was gorgeous with a lovely sea view. The staff are superb and extremely helpful and accommodating. Will definitely be returning in the future.

We had 2 nights here while visiting Split. Hotel is actually in Podstrana, about 20 minutes drive from Split. Thus it is not near its attractions, shopping and dining. Therefore, food choices are limited. The hotel restaurant however does provide good dinner enough for a 2-night stay, with the option of outdoor dining by the poolside just next to the beach - a good means to keep the children entertained with an eye on them while waiting for food to be served. The rooms we had were clean and comfortable, with spacious balconies, though space was somewhat tight to work with our open luggage. Overall, it was a nice stay.

My husband and I spent 4 nights here before driving down to Dubrovnik. The location of the hotel is excellent, not only because of its proximity to Split but also the restaurant Terrace and swimming pool are directly next to a small beach and the sea. The room was well equipped and very clean and all the staff very helpful and friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant a couple of times and found the food and wine very good and not expensive.

Spent 1 week in this fabulous hotel. The staff were brilliant, also very helpful giving directions when we were going on day trips, when we returned Anna wold see us coming in and had our key ready for us to collect. Michel carried our luggage and made us very welcome. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of hot and cold food, if we needed anything it was promptly provided.Breakfast could be eaten in either the dining room or the terrace overlooking the sea, where we could view the boats going to nearby islands. They also supplied a kettle in our room. At night we left the balcony door open and the sound of the waves helped us to sleep. The bus stop is a few metres from the hotel The peaceful location enhanced our holiday. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff leaves happy memories as many hotels can be impersonal, this hotel is one that will remember for good reasons, and would recommend a stay here.

This hotel is a gem. Yes it is 3 star but it is an excellent 3 star . Where can you listen to the waves at night and step into the sea from your breakfast table for £60 a night? The view of the sea is breathtaking. The staff are friendly and helpful. Anna in particular sorted out some rude guests for us. All of the reception staff are excellent , charming young waiter and the cleaners were very genuine. The hotel is on the coAst road midway between Omis and Split. A £1.30 bus ride lasting approx 20 mins will take you to either place .split was beautiful but we loved Omis. We ate there every evening a couple of beers two courses for under £40 just perfect . We went on the river cruise and the boat trip to Brac all great value. We went on two locsl buses to Trogir the 60 and 37 which would have cost £120 on a tour with a guide we did it for £10. The Hotrl Neva has the best location pools and beach just fab. We will return and I do not often say that. Stay here you won’t regret it .

Very charming hotel with exceptionally friendly staff. Rooms with wonderful view to Brač and the Adriatic Sea. Excellent breakfast buffet and good restaurant in the evening. Overall a very pleasent hotel for exploring Split and its region, but not the top choice for a beach holiday.
