3 of us stayed in the garden apartment with 1 on the sofa bed. Very welcoming staff on arrival. A good base if you have a car and intend to explore further afield as we did. Spilt 15-20 mins to ferry terminal; Omis 25 mins (rafting) and Brela beach a must in 1 hour. Local beaches are ok (you have to cross the main road) and 10-15 minutes walk. Beach side bars and cafes great for watching the sunset. Garden is private; all shade but flanked on both sides by a road serving other apartments on the hillside. Outside kitchenette useful. Apartment clean, modern and reasonably equipped. We didn’t use the (very small) pool...

We arranged for an early check in to suit flight times and we were met and greeted by a lovely lady who was very helpful. Lovely clean apartment with a tiny kitchenette which catered for our needs nicely in quiet area off the main drag. It's a 15-12 minute walk up a fairly steep hill from the main road and bus services, routes to beach etc so if disabled then probably not best location but we didn't find it a problem at all. Close to a couple of supermarkets and only 10-15 mins stroll from the beach and the café/bars, Not a lot in the actual area apart from the beach and cafe/bars which we found to be both friendly and welcoming and a great place to sit and relax with a few beers and food, but the bus stop is close and transport cheap so great place to base yourself and then jump on the bus to Split, Omis like we did for day trips. Food and drink are both reasonbaly priced compared to the UK and all the people we had dealings with were lovely and friendly.…

This accommodation exceeded expectations. Helpful & polite staff. Exceptionally clean & well maintained apartment & facilities. Very modern & contemporary. Local supermarket, cash point, bakery & bus stop 5-10min walk, and to the beach (which is beautiful) another 10mins. Will defo go back and would highly recommend. 5*.

The owner was very helpful and showed genuine interest in the guests and their activities. We were able to check in late and the host even printed off our boarding passes! Great level of service. The rooms were nice and tidy and well equipped for cooking, we found the area to be quiet and relaxing, with stunning scenery. The location was great with the beach just 5mins away and lots of beach bars to eat and drink at the seafront. A frequent bus took us to Split in around 15mins. 100% recommend.

The building and room was superclean and fresh. Everything you need and a fully-equiped kitchen. Nice balcony. Cleaning daily if wished. A personal feeling to the room, not a cold hotel-feeling. A nice pool in the backyard, in shadow but there is also chairs in the sun after 1 PM. We appreciated the cool shadow though, it was really hot out in the sun. My boyfriend caught a fever and the owner was so nice and helpful to us and offered us medicine without fee. A nice gesture we apprechiated. The apartment is a ten min walk to the beach. On the same street is a foodstore and a nice relaxed bar. Podstrana all in all is a calm place. Nice beaches and some restaurants here and there. A few of them more touristy than others. Otherwise go to split for more things to do. Uber takes 120 kn one way. …

The staff was very friendly, there is a little swimming pool outside, and the room was very nice! It's clean and quite big. The apartment is at 20/30min of Split by car so it's very convenient! I recommend it

We were sold the garden apartment for our holiday. Then we were moved to other, cheaper one with an excuse that baby bed would not fit there and that was an utter lie. Clearly the apartment given to us was just as big as the garden apartment. The bedroom only would have been smaller but we would have used the living room for the baby bed. The real reason for our apartment change was that the owner's mother lives in the garden apartment! So DO NOT book the garden apartment if not 100% sure it is even available. We only got partial refund in cash from the owner (not the full difference for some reason) and that required a two day quarrel. What a nice start for a holiday... He never apologized or admitted his mistake or lie. He just blamed others. Not very respectful. The sheets in the bed also had the strongest odour of detergent and conditioner ever. We had breathing problems in them. It was impossible to get the odour off them even with using our own detergent. Owner's mother tried to wash them after we begged enough. Her attitude towards the problem was very disrespectful and annoyed. The room also had a problem with ants. From garden below they came in from the balcony door if the door was open. We always left the balcony door closed but the room cleaner for some annoying reason left it open... And the ants were there when we came back. I give two stars for the overall cleanliness of the place and the calm neighborhood. Otherwise this place left the worst picture of Croatian hospitality we experienced. But luckily we had many good experiences in restaurants etc. in Croatia and loved the country.…

Well situated, extremely clean and quite new apartment. My family and I myself are more than happy with our recent stay in Villa Bella, Podstrana. Just 5 minutes away from the beach of Le Meridien and also very close to the local supermarket, clean and wells orted, by the way. The owners of the villa is a couple of local people and they are very polite and helpful. The villa is perfect, if you are well educated, silent and respectful towards other people. We already miss it ; we disconnected totally and really relaxed. Our warmest regards to the owners.

My two friends and I stayed here for a week as we attended Ultra Music Festival Europe. We had a very welcome reception and we were shown to our very clean room with all the required facilities and a good sized balcony. The staff were very attentive to our needs, and also offered taxi rides into Split (~ 6 miles) at a competitive price. The beds were very comfortable and there was always an area in the pool area to sunbathe. The only real drawback with this hotel is its distance from the centre of Split, with journey times that can take over half an hour at peak traffic times, but I would definitely choose to stay here again. Thank you for making us feel very welcome!

We were very impressed by the modern, absolutely spotlessly clean apartment. First evening the shower only gave lukewarm water, but the next morning it was fine and I was able to enjoy a lovely hot shower :) Parking was excellent and the couple running the place wonderfully friendly. The whole building was quiet, and the bed nicely firm and comfortable. Apparently there was also a pool – wish we'd known! Will definitely recommend to friends and family travelling to Split.
