Booked in for 3 nights on a motorbike trip of Spain. Really nice cozy hotel. Excellent room with view over the hills and a bath!. Breakfast fine. Staff friendly but no English spoken. Parking on site. Nice garden to relax in - as the valley lies West to East keeps the sun until late which is really nice. Reasonably priced...

Five of us stayed in this beautiful hotel set in the picturesque Picos de Europa. The owner, Carmen, was warm and engaging; the decor was just what you would want in a bed and breakfast in the mountains. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless. I do speak Spanish so that makes a difference, as I don't think anyone spoke English...

4 of us have just returned from a week staying in this really nice little hotel. It is ideally based for anyone wanting to explore the Picos d' Europa and there is good walking straight from the door. The hotel itself is small and cozy, bedrooms quite charming with outstanding mountain views from the back. Good bathrooms and spotlessly clean....

We based ourselves in Arenas de Cabrales for 11 nights in June and we stayed in Hotel Torrejon. It was a good hotel to base ourselves in. The staff were friendly and helpful. They have minimal English so be prepared to communicate in Spanish. We have no Spanish but managed basic communication through use of phrase book and Google Translate....

We stayed for only two nights while making our way back to Bilbao for the ferry, but we really wished that we had taken in bit longer in this beautiful area. The hotel itself was very clean and really comfortable and in our opinion really excellent value. The breakfast was certainly enough for us and given the price paid, more...

We stayed here for a week this summer, and loved it! Carmen and her family are wonderful hosts. Our family of three loved the clean en suite room, and appreciated the advice about local swimming holes, hikes, and restaurants. We happened to be here during a festival weekend, which was a bit overwhelming, so especially glad that we had a...

Rooms were very nice and the bed comfortable. We had wine and cheese etc as a group of 6 sitting out in the back garden area which was a really nice way to spend a late afternoon before heading off into town for dinner. The breakfast was simple but more than adequate and the lady in the kitchen did a...

This gets great reviews on Tripadvisor and so I was slightly disappointed. The location was good – close to town but on the outskirts in a semi rural setting. Our room was nice and the welcome reasonably friendly, however breakfast was very basic - only coffee and toast/cake. It was also the only place we stayed that didn't take credit...

We arrived in Arenas de Cabrales late on a wet wintry November evening. We found this Hotel in the Lonely Planet and lucky for us they had 2 rooms available. Spacious clean warm tastefully decorated rooms. The beds were so comfortable we had a late siesta. The owner was very friendly and helpful. They had a big car park at the front...

We hadn't planned on staying in Arenas de Cabrales so we hadn't reviewed the available hotels online. But it was getting late and we decided to check out the ones we saw on our walk. The first one was closed for the season, and the second one, El Torrejón didn't even seem like a hotel, but rather a large family...
