The staff at the bay horse were very friendly, the family room was very spacious and had tea making facilities, the food was excellent and decent portions... would definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking of visiting Masham

We booked a table for 6 with baby seat at 12.15 as we wanted a swift lunch before going into the Forbidden Corner. The pub was empty when we arrived so we chose to sit in the front area rather than a back room. The staff were very friendly and helpful but the service was too slow for us. By...

Had a fab time in masham. Stayed at the bay horse. Hotel excellent, and the staff was friendly. We ate at the hotel and the food was good. Parking was no problem large car park in the square with an honesty box suggesting 50p! The black sheep brewery well worth a visit. Certainly recommend the hotel.

First time we've been to masham and the bay horse but it won't be the last it was a really nice break .There are nice cafes nearby and a nice restaurant next door. We found the parking quite easy for a small busy town with no parking restrictions and very cheap (50p) honesty box

Brilliant night at the bay horse. Booked another hotel originally and so glad we changed. We ate in the pub as well and it was excellent value for money. Food was delicious. Couldn't fault anything. Would recommend.

Our room was at the top of a lot of stairs, away from the busy bar.A few cobwebs but immaculate shower room. Lovely crisp bed linen and comfy bed made an enjoyable stay. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice, fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals etc and of course cooked english breakfasts.

A return visit to Masham to celebrate our anniversary. Chose the Bay Horse for somewhere different and we weren't disappointed. Lovely little room, very well appointed with homely touches and biscuits! Comfortable bed and big pillows. Shower flummoxed us and bigger bath towels would have been nice ( I have a thing about that!). The room overlooked the garden and...

I am kind of reluctant to write this review as I'd prefer to keep this place as much of a secret as possible! The staff are incredibly friendly, the room was cosy but very nice and the price was incredibly reasonable considering the level of service we received. The stairs up to the rooms are a bit steep and the...
