Excellent food, very freshly cooked, good choice of beer and friendly staff. The room was comfy with lovely touches like fresh milk in a flask and freshly ground coffee and cafetiere. Comfy bed, efficient shower and heated towel rail. Bit chilly in the morning, though!

Can't recommend enough! Quality through and through. Can't wait to stay again soon. Food was beautiful, rooms modern and spotless, loved fizz Friday. Masham is a lovely place to have a walk round and very peaceful.

Lovely friendly atmosphere. The room was excellent with the little touches making it special. Great choice of food through the stay. Location right in the square and parking just opposite. Would certainly book again.

Provided exactly what we wanted, a good clean room in pleasant surroundings. Good food and drinks served by friendly staff team. We will return in the summer and take advantage of the location and enjoy the fragrance of the Black Sheep Brewery once more!

Theakston Brewery worth a visit. Car was parked up all weekend and we sampled all the local ales. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Ad an added extra the South Martins a tribute band were playing at the local town Hall and they were very good.

Myself and my wife stayed here overnight on our third visit to Masham and we found everything was done to a high standard. The rooms are great the staff are really friendly and helpful and the real ales are well kept. The food is excellent and write just can't wait to return.

Comfortable good sized bedroom. Dining is either in a dedicated section of the bar or a smaller rear room (where we dined). Service was excellent on Saturday night but reduced number of staff struggled a little on Sunday night and as The Bay Horse is a popular eating place some items on the menu had run out by the evening....

Thank you so much for the honest, genuine response. We are continuously working towards having every choice available as we become busier for food - its a learning curve that we will grasp as the business stabilises and becomes hopefully, more consistent. As for the noise, I am truly sorry and hope it didn't spoil your stay too much. We...

Visited Masham to experience both of the local brewery tours, this is between the two places, just off the marketplace. The staff were very welcoming. The facilities in the room were great, providing a French Press and fresh milk, in a flask, was a pleasant surprise. I would book here again.

We still have things to improve on, which we are fully aware of. So happy that you appreciated the little touches that we have already made and you will enjoy more, as we grow as a business. Thank you for taking the time to leave the review - see you soon! Gill

Had a fantastic weekend in Masham including two visits both for food and drink over the weekend. The bar staff were really friendly, dealt with 24 blokes on a stag do with ease and a smile making us feel very welcome. A great selection of ales, good menu lovely warm fire and real good atmosphere.

So happy that you felt comfortable and safe at The Bay Horse. I was working the night of the stag do of 24, and my thoughts in that situation, are that if you treat people with respect, they will respect their surroundings and you accordingly - glad you enjoyed it! Make sure that you come back.... Gill
