Stayed for one night and was pleased with my en-suite room (room No.7). The room had all of the usual comforts such as FreeView TV, tea / coffee making, free view TV, bedside lighting with main room light control, a desk with chair and a good sized en-suite bathroom. Bed was pretty good and had very clean crisp linen. Towels...

From the outside the Rose and Crown looks like the typical country Inn, family run and beautifully aged. I was therefore completely surprised by the modern and stylish bedroom. Nothing to fault at all! Wonderful, kind and welcoming staff, which is not always the case for an outsider in such a small village. Would definitely stay here again!

There's a really nice ambience in this pub and the evening we were there it was busy. The menu is good and varied and from the surroundings I was expecting some great food. I had a chicken mushroom and Sherry pie which had a pale under cooked puff pastry topper. It was served with bought in chips and French beans/kale....

As always we had a lovely meal at the Rose and Crown in Nottage, Porthcawl. Saturdays food is served all day which is brilliant for people with young children. Nice touch to have crayons and placemat and menu for children. Staff were lovely and when asked to have the child's meal brought as soon as it was ready so we...

We often visit the Rose and Crown for Sunday dinner as ta the best in the area. They do a great but roast for vegetarians and the beef is amazing. I would highly recommend the desert platter as it's not only the best of everything but it's also cheaper than buying two separate. It really is amazing.

My partner anid I went here on Saturday for an evening meal with friends. The atmosphere there is really relaxing, the service second to none and the food was delicious. Been here before so we knew what to expect, and they didn't let us down. Will certainly go again and would definitely recommend it, thank you rose and crown,

We visited The Rose and Crown this month for my partners birthday, along with her family. It's not our first time visiting and it definitely shan't be our last. The food is superb, just as the service. The pub is warm and friendly and has an 'old timey' feel to it but as it should be, the main attraction is...

We had a lovely time. The inn is charming, built of old stone with flag stone floors. Our rooms were comfortable, though I would prefer a shower that can be band held! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We also ate very well - bar lunch was good and breakfast especially good.
