From the outside it doesn't look great but credit where it's due, we were given room 10 on the 1st floor huge massive room 1 double bed 2×single beds ensuite shower and loo flat screen TV with a selection of freeview channels . The view was simply outstanding over looking the Bristol channel. The town of porthcawl is just a...

Three of us were on a golfing trip and popped in for a drink after an Indian. The owner was so welcoming, extremely hospitable and great fun! Hotel is in a great location and ideal for a short golfing stay! Pop in for beer.

Late breakfast on a busy bank holiday morning. Made use of the outdoor seating area. Breakfast was excellent and well priced. Service was excellent, even allowing for the fact that they were rushed off their feet

My Son and I were in Porthcawl on a sunny, but cold April 17 Sunday, so we visited the Pier Cafe and had the Pier Breakfast each. As usual it was fantastic! There is a blonde girl here now that is a ringer for the girl that works for Eric Pollard in Emmerdale! It's about time Andrea had some competition!

Have eaten here a few times on very visits to Porthcawl, yet today it was raining and we had our pug, not a problem, we were allowed to sit in the pool room to eat once again a lovely breakfast. More places in this area should follow suit in allowing well behaved dogs.
