Beautiful drinks in the sun in the lovely garden with some nice chilled out music. We didn't eat as we had already booked somewhere the day before but the food looked good. Reasonable price and a friendly atmosphere.

Visited over Easter period for food and drinks. We found it offered us excellent service, particular thanks to Eileen who was very helpful, chatty and friendly. The kids kept talking about her afterwards. The place has had a recent refurbishment and is very well decorated throughout. We had the evening set menu which we found to be very good value,...

We visited because they had a special promotion on a Monday where you got a free drink if you ordered a burger. Despite receiving a specific offer from SA Brains on the day in question (the brewery who own the pub) the offer wasn't available on a bank holiday. We weren't told this when we ordered our food, only when...

Stopped as we were passing through Bala, the hotel has just opened, it was very nice inside, the food was average, we went for a 3 course meal each, it was £11.50 each. The salad was tiny as starter, the mail made were a good siZe and fairly tasty. The dessert was 3 Lemon Possets, all 3 came as a...

We went to the White Lion Hotel for an evening meal and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel has recently been refurbished and was very clean. The staff were very friendly. The food was very good value, two courses for £9.50. The portion size was good. I would recommend this hotel for a good value meal.

It's refurbished to a high spec without loosing any of the character of the hotel. It has a comfortable feel to it. It feels cosy and yet spacious...

On a chilly night in February with abandoned camping ambitions we pulled into the kerb side on our motorcycles and went into the White Lion Royal Hotel looking for warmth and accommodation. There seemed to be no flexibility on price so the three of us settled for a family room for £85 for the night. It was a decent room...

Stayed here a few times and always enjoyed it. The staff are always attentive and the beer is excellent. Although some of the rooms are a bit dated, I understand they are going through a major refit now, so look forward to staying again!

Arrived only to be told food was not been served till 6pm. We sat and drank for nearly 2 hours waiting. We browsed the menus on the table and selected the 3 course evening meal. On been served we was told we could not have this as it was a bank holiday. (This was only in very small print at...
