Just spent a lovely long weekend at the Scottish Equestrian Hotel with my daughter and I can't say enough good things about our time there. The equestrian facilities were first class and the horses were superbly trained. I rode the beautiful Appaloosas Dixie and Theo and my daughter had great fun with the cuddly giant; Albert. All the staff were...

I just did a week-long, centre-based vacation at the Scottish Equestrian Hotel. I had a very nice time. I will simply echo JellyBean1965's review! Maureen and her staff run a very nice facility and they provide a memorable experience. If I start to mention individuals, I'm afraid that I'll forget someone, so I will say that everyone was VERY nice...

HI Thankyou so much for the great review. I know the weather wasn't so good. BUT next year the Castles Trail will be awesome and we're looking forward to you coming to join it.

We chose this place for the location, as we were attending a dog show at the agricultural centre across the road. Maureen and her staff could not have been nicer or more attentive. The food was good, too!

Lovely setting, very clean rooms, lovely cooked breakfast. Plenty of parking space and a 10 minute walk to the centre of Lanark. A hidden gem! Well worth considering if you're in the area. Reasonably priced too.

I have just returned from a wonderful holiday at the Scottish Equestrian Hotel - the long journey from south of London was well worth it. The accommodation was top notch, with all of the facilities you could need (including tea/coffee making facilities; hairdryer; iron and ironing board; great wifi in the rooms; etc). The food was delicious, varied, and beautifully...

I first spent a week at Scottish Equi on an adult riding holiday in 2014 - and vowed to come back again as soon as possible. It took me longer than I hoped, but I made it back for another week at the end of May. As it was off season the hotel & yard were relatively quiet (I was...

The signage to this may confuse you as the wooden clad building may seem a restaurant...in fact the owner came out to us to welcome and say it WAS the right place! A very friendly welcome and a clean bright and warm room. The breakfast was great and wi-fi is available in the bistro...very friendly staff! An added bonus was...
