There are really mixed reviews of this place which is confusing but this is my take.
Spent the last 2 weeks of September here (family with two young children). The hotel was exclusively for Thomson guests & was full. Transfers to the accommodation were fine...More
We booked this as a last minute get away £900 for 2 adults and 2 children, from what we had seen it looked nice and with a 4 star on trip advisor i thought carnt be that bad.

Stayed here for a week in October. Check in went smoothly, very good reception staff. We were allocated a lovely apartment, near one of the pools. This had a big terrace and was fully equipped with the maids supplying towels etc every day. My friend...More
Booked a weeks holiday here for 2 adults 1 child and 1 infant - what a shame, waste of £1200!!!!

We traveled as a couple 2nd week of October. On arrival there was a long queue to check in. I believe this is due to the fact that guests have to pay a local tourist tax and nobody knows how much until you get there....More

We managed the walk several times with my 3 year old, and she's not much of a walker in all honesty. As others have said, it's flat until the last 100 yards or so, but that's nothing demanding, a very steady decline/incline. The whole area is pretty much flat, until you stray off the beaten track. The best beach is definitely the closest one though. And you can't beat Castaway's for meals. Very well priced, good honest food, and excellent staff. We ate there most days after we'd got our bearings and tried a few.

Our daughter also has a a severe nut allergy (peanuts). We went in June 2016, no issues at all. Certainly no nuts on tables. Staff in the restaurant very attentive to food allergies and after a couple of days they even remembered us before we reminded them.
The restaurants outside the hotel were also very aware of food allergies. Whilst certain dishes had to be avoided, it didn’t cause any more of an issue than eating-out in the UK.
Probably don’t need to tell you this as you’ll already have experience, but call Thomson now and make sure there are notes added to the flight plan, then remind the staff on the gate, then definitely remind the crew as you board the flight and ask them to put out a PA. Tui have always been very happy to do this for us and don’t serve peanuts as a matter of policy. They will also ask other passengers not to eat them so there is no risk of contamination on board the plane.
Make sure you carry your Epi-Pen in hand luggage and prescription for security should you be asked.
Go! Enjoy it, try and relax. It’s a great place for kids!
