Okay, I wanted to give them 5 stars, I really did. There was only ONE THING that disappointed me, right as i was leaving the resort :( So let me get that out of the way first, because everything that I'm gonna say after this will be positivity. Lunch is served daily at 12:30 pm, and there was a couple...

Bucket list item: stay in an over-water bungalow where you can step off the pier to swim in warm water--CHECK! This resort has it all; the setting is warm water with a variety of sea life, tiny island with white sand beaches, ocean views everywhere. The resort is lovely and the food very, very good. The staff is particularly careful...

This is the place to get away from the everyday life stress. A 20 minute boat ride from the main land puts one in Paradise. No TV's, internet only in the main lodge, and white sand beaches, what more can you ask for? Gourmet meals, crystal clear waters and access to the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world! Hammocks...

If the bright lights and blaring beat of music in Cancun draws you, then St. George's Caye Resort is not for you. If however, you have a sense of adventure, love water activities, meeting new people, eating good food at a no hassle pace, then consider this place. You can do scuba, snorkeling, kayaking, adventuring or nothing at all! The...

My wife and I spent 8 nights at St. George's Caye Resort and had a wonderful, amazing time! The staff was always helpful and friendly. It's an extremely nice way to get away from the hustle and bustle of today. You can spend your entire stay relaxing on the island or take advantage of the many excursions offered. Either way,...

Saint Georges Caye Resort is a 20 minute drive from Belize City airport followed by a 20 minute boat ride seven miles to a narrow one mile long island off the coast of Belize. A major appeal of the resort's location is that there is free transportation to the resort by their staff which allows the visitor to avoid an...

My husband and I learned to scuba dive at St. George's in 1999, and we invited our closest friends to our wedding here in 2000 -- and a majority of them extended their time with us so they could complete their dive certification. Our last visit was in 2003, one year after we had twins and a year before we...

Every part of the vacation at St George's Caye was excellent. To begin, it's extremely convenient: the airport pickup, short drive to the dock complete with a brief lesson on Belizean culture and wildlife, and a boat ride past uninhabitated mangrove islands took 30-40 minutes total. Much shorter travel time than anyplace else I considered in Belize. At the end...

Thank you so much for visiting, and for sharing your experiences. Thank you for pointing out how much extra time guests get when they come to St. George's - the most convenient, shortest transfers (and free!). We are so fortunate to have this unique location in Belize. Yes, always good to bring bug spray when traveling to the tropics (and...

Getting to the resort is just as easy as advertised. As soon as you exit the airport a super nice driver is waiting for you and he asked if we wanted to stop for anything. We chose not to but if you want candy or snacks you should stop because there are no snacks available at the resort. Then a...

Glad you enjoyed your visit, and thank you for sharing. We do advertise that we are an adult resort, and we pretty much keep it that way. In Belize, beaches are open to public access, and we have a few children of staff on our island and they of course use the ocean. But we do have an "adults only"...
