My wife and I spent 8 nights at St. George's Caye Resort and had a wonderful, amazing time! The staff was always helpful and friendly. It's an extremely nice way to get away from the hustle and bustle of today. You can spend your entire stay relaxing on the island or take advantage of the many excursions offered. Either way,...

Saint Georges Caye Resort is a 20 minute drive from Belize City airport followed by a 20 minute boat ride seven miles to a narrow one mile long island off the coast of Belize. A major appeal of the resort's location is that there is free transportation to the resort by their staff which allows the visitor to avoid an...

My husband and I learned to scuba dive at St. George's in 1999, and we invited our closest friends to our wedding here in 2000 -- and a majority of them extended their time with us so they could complete their dive certification. Our last visit was in 2003, one year after we had twins and a year before we...

Every part of the vacation at St George's Caye was excellent. To begin, it's extremely convenient: the airport pickup, short drive to the dock complete with a brief lesson on Belizean culture and wildlife, and a boat ride past uninhabitated mangrove islands took 30-40 minutes total. Much shorter travel time than anyplace else I considered in Belize. At the end...

Thank you so much for visiting, and for sharing your experiences. Thank you for pointing out how much extra time guests get when they come to St. George's - the most convenient, shortest transfers (and free!). We are so fortunate to have this unique location in Belize. Yes, always good to bring bug spray when traveling to the tropics (and...

Getting to the resort is just as easy as advertised. As soon as you exit the airport a super nice driver is waiting for you and he asked if we wanted to stop for anything. We chose not to but if you want candy or snacks you should stop because there are no snacks available at the resort. Then a...

Glad you enjoyed your visit, and thank you for sharing. We do advertise that we are an adult resort, and we pretty much keep it that way. In Belize, beaches are open to public access, and we have a few children of staff on our island and they of course use the ocean. But we do have an "adults only"...

We could not have enjoyed our trip to Belize more. The resort was absolutely amazing with some of most beautiful scenery we have ever seen. The beach front rooms were a great deal. The food was good, service exceptional, and just a vey quite and relaxing place. When we wanted activities, the originated trips for cave tubing, the Ruins, and...

"We could not have enjoyed our trip to Belize more." That warms my heart. I can see the pride on the faces of our wonderful staff even from my current location in the states. We have posted about our Turkish towels on our blog in the past. They are in fact very high quality. They are thin, and some people...

If I could rate this place 100 Stars...I would! About 20-30 minute boat ride from the mainland brings you to an Island that is the definition of relaxation! You can plan excursions prior to arrival, for which they have some package deals, or just take things day by day. Check out Mayan Ruins, massages, San Pedro for the day, diving...

My husband and I just returned from an amazing honeymoon at St. George's Caye Resort. The secluded location was just what we needed to escape from our busy, hectic lives. The views are simply breathtaking of the stars, sunsets, sunrises and water. With no cars or other hotels on the island, the days and nights are very quiet and relaxing....

Just as described online, small resort island close to Belize City with 12 cottages and a central eating place/bar/lobby with wifi. Easy to get there and back as they pick you up at the airport and after about a 25 minute ride (where the driver will stop to let you buy drinks if you ask), transfer to their boat for...

I stayed there for a total of four days. It is a really quiet and beautiful place indeed. The room is clean and comfortable and service is really good that they try to respond all your requests. Maybe it is not a Rosewood or Ritz Carlton Reserve, however, at less than 500 dollar a night, it is really worth every...
