Great base for the grand and little tsingys, great rooms, very comfortable. So so food. What was quite apparent was the sneering arrogance of some of the staff, especially at the bar, requests for top ups ignored. The icing on the cake was missing underwear from the laundry, it was not taken seriously at all seriously and when the manageress...

The stay started out a little rough because the hotel staff were not clear explaining where to unload/park etc, but once we found our groove this turned out to be a pretty solid performance by a hotel that caters to a pretty demanding clientele. Breakfasts are either "continental" or "American" (the latter includes fruit and eggs) and you get way...

Hotel was very comfortable and clean and served good food, but there was no choice as far as food was concerned, you could only have what they cooked that day and a choice of vegetarian as well. Food was pricey. Bar area was a good area to hang out. Gardens were very well kept and the whole area was looked...

Our bungallow did not have electricity at first until they switched on generator. It did not have any water at first and when we complained, we got some cold drippings from the shower and no warm water at all. One would hardly call this a shower! (in the morning water ran fine, but you need a shower when you are...

This large nicely built hotel is a real nice site for a night while visiting the Tsingy unfortunately the food is very basic and there is NO CHOICE ... The electricity system is strange and if you connect your mobile to a wrong shelter you may find its battery empty in the morning ...

Used this hotel as a base to visit Tsingy in July 2015. In this remote part of Madagascar, this is probably one of the best hotel to stay in. Rooms were reasonably clean. Like many hotels in this area, the electricity generator is not turned on 24hrs a day. However when the generator of the hotel is not turned on,...

The hotel and the whole complex is very nice, there is outside pool, which is great after trek. Staff did not speak english, was challenging to understand each other. Food was quite expensive and poor. Very little portions and not very tasty.

Stayed 3 nights for a visit to Tsingy de Bemeraha. Hotel is located close to the last ferry crossing and is easy to find. The reception were good and the staff friendly. Some speak english. They have a generator that runs between 5-10 which provides electricity. The staff member who showed me my room showed me some switches to use...

This hotel is set amongst a nice garden with an airy restaurant. Our room was small and the fan didnt work, but the staff came and replaced it at 10pm so we had a great nights sleep. The staff also started breakfast early for us so we could eat before leaving for an early morning boat trip into the gorge.

When reviewing all the hotels in Bekopaka at Tsingy National Park, you have to bear in mind that the place is 1 day away by a rough track from Morondava, the closest city with permanent road, sea and air connections to the rest of Madagascar. Fuel, water, food... everything has to travel to Bekopaka in these difficult conditions. Therefore, L'Orchidée...
