When you go to Tioman a stay at Tioman Cabana is a must! The crew is the best part, big smiles and warm welcome. The dive instructors are awesome, they were so patient and clear training my kids on their first diving experience. The bistro is great local Malay food plus pizza and burgers. The rooms are clean and cozy with a great view. Fall asleep to the sound of the sea. Beautiful sunset location! Will definitely be back highly recommend for solo or family!

We had a wonderful time at Tioman Cabana. Snorkeling trip was awesome, staff was super kind, food and drinks were great. And sitting on the beach with a crystal clear water and a great view was also cool :)) Completely recommends this place !!

If you are searching for one of the best places to learn diving. This is the place. location: very near to the Tekek Jetty (walking distance, easy to get foods, near to mini mart, near to marine park) Rooms: nice and comfy (private room). Superb view. Hey, all we need is the beach, right? We sleep on the bed only at night. They have a dormitory as well. Most people come to dive. Cafe: A WOW. Simple... but too perfect, I can't describe it. You can just sit there and enjoy the vibes. Paradise with many cute cats. Diving: the best instructors. They only want you to master everything. Be safe; dive with limits. Super cool vibes. Beach: Clean, blue and turquoise clear water. Beautiful. Overall: Outstanding. Highly recommended. Definitely will come again and again and again.

After 4 years of not coming to Tioman Cabana (or Tioman as a matter of fact), the place has improved a lot. More rooms, a proper place for merchandise selling, a recycling centre showcase/effort and new faces. Of course, Sham (the owner) is still there. We spent 2 nights (or was it 3) here. We took the room with a/c. The room was eloquently decorated. including with IKEA bedding. There's a water heater - but it's stil basic. Fortunately, dining is near (they have a cafe), the supermarket is near and breakfast is on the house. The best thing about this place is: it's quite, it's you and the beach and the sand, no late night parties. It's serene, quite and calm. My slight con: The breakfast is fixed (unlike 4 years ago - every day is different breakfast set - loved that) - food at the cafe slightly on the pricey side (but you still can pay by debit or credit) Nevertheless, those are minor. We had an amazing stay at Tioman Cabana for our 4D3N stay to complete our AOW with Fred. Travel is all about the good foods, good people and good vibes! Come to Tioman Cabana to experience these yourself. Words can't describe how best is the place and the crew here. Thank you Apek, Kecik, Nizam, Sham, Fred, William, and New friends we've met at Tioman Cabana for this great experience. Room space is just nice and comfy but there's a little recommendation to add something that can hang our clothes inside the room, or maybe outside the room as our clothes are all wet after our dive. Come to Tioman Cabana for the good vibes. Oh ya, if you're interested in diving, look for #00 Fred lahhh and if you're really into or interested in night dive look for the "BLUE" guy William, the night dive specialist will bring u so much fun in the water at night. We did our OWD and AOWD at cabana. Our instructors Emir and Fred were super awesome teachers with good sense of humor and high professionality. The TICA school is very well equipped and we had a great time there. We made trips to the closeby are to super cool dive spots which our captain Haris showed us. We saw lots of different fishes, turtles, sharks and sting rays. If you want to go to Malaysia you need to come to this place!!
