We chose a fabulous villa to rent Las Tabaibas 1. We had stayed at Salobre Resort many times and were aware of this villa. Salobre Golf Villas’ website offered 2 weeks at a reasonable price which showed as a discounted “special offer” We were happy with the cost and booked it but sadly for purely personal reasons we needed to cancel 6 weeks before travelling. What we had not realised was that as this rental was termed a “special offer” instead of a percentage cancellation fee of 40% which we expected as per their terms of trading, Salobre Golf Villas advised that the full 100% rental was payable. Buried in the General Terms and Conditions, there is a clause that states that any Special Offers are subject to the 100% charge but this was not made clear at the time of booking. We challenged Salobre Golf Villas on this point advising that this important information was not made clear at the time of booking. On reflection they did relent and accepted the 40% payment. So please read the terms of booking carefully before signing up.

We actually stayed 5-12th November 2017 - just catching up on reviews! We visited a year previously and loved the tranquillity and closeness to Maspolomas so much we booked again. The best things about this villa are the private garden and the peace and quiet! We ate breakfast outdoors every morning and our little boy (age 1.5) played happily in the garden - nobody overlooked us which was fab! The pool was a little cold and the wifi a bit hit and miss but it didn't impact on our enjoyment of the break. We visited maspolomas frequently.... the beach and the bars and find it a lovely, clean and pretty resort. This year we both ran around the gold resort.... in fact I completed my couch 2 5k challenge there! run before the sun comes up is my advice! Just a lovely place to say - the daily fresh bread delivery tops it off!

Rental Company was Suite Dreams. We checked in to this Villa (Lagos 2) and commented immediately on the cleanliness. We were told it would be ok when we came back. There was a strange comment made to my wife that they had no control over the noise as most of the Villas round about were privately owned, When we came back the place was cleaner but still not what it should have been. Then a Villa in the vicinity started a party, It was extremely loud and went on till after 3am. We complained the next day and nothing was said except is should be ok tonight. We went to use the kitchen utensils in the morning and several items still had food on them. Lot off Ants about as well . We contacted Suite Dreams again however got nowhere. We also found out that day that there would be no access in / out of the resort due to road works and this was confirmed by the security on the gate. Again complained and not much commitment from Suite Dreams. Just after that a party started up next door We decided to notify them that we were checking out as we were not putting up with this. There communication is very poor and they have refunded our 200euro damage deposit however are ignoring our requests for further refunds, They keep saying that it is being dealt with. It is such a shame that a great place is ruined by the company that rents the house and that they cant deal with problems. We took photos that they don't even comment on when sent. We will not be back or recommend.

We stayed in Par 4 Villa no 18 for 7 nights. The resort is lovely with access to spa and pools for a cost, which we enjoyed on our last day.The villa is a bit tired, requiring upgrading on a few particulars such as shower, beds and air con.Unfortunately there was also building work going on close by which did spoil our mornings in the villa.

We booked 2 houses, one in Golfers number 6 and the other in Morro golf number 3. Had nr6 for two weeks and nr3 for 6 days. Upon arrival, 3 of the 4 a/c's were not working, and with degrees over 35C, two small kids and a baby, the first two nights were horrible. They had to change the a/c machines outside and inside and we had workers in the house for an entire day. The filters were disgusting and we were told they were health hazardus and dangerous breathe in. Both of the bathrooms had broken shower heads. The shower downstairs leaks out onto the floor. The house we stayed in (nr. 6) also had a lot of minor defects which separately would be insignificent, but there were just too many of them in the two houses. Defect lighting in the garden through the whole stay, therefore we could not sit by the pool at nighttime. Both houses had in general poor maintenance. The neighbours renovated their house and there was a lot of noise all day, every day, except Sunday, and further down the road was a construction place at the moment. This should undoubtedly have been expressed to us prior to our arrival so we could have booked another house! Katja and her team were swift to send people to fix issues, but as paying guests, we expect these things to be taken care of prior to check-in. The sunbeds were old and many of them broken. The fence towards the edge is heavily corroded and unsafe for small children. The house has been poorly built and a lot of the tiles inside on the floors are loose. Despite numerous issues, we had a great time as the days were spent outside and the garden and pool area is very nice, and the sunsets can be beautiful. I can highly reccomend the area, maybe not the Golfers villas. Make sure there is no refurbishing going on there and that you get a refurbished house and not and old worn down one. I also would like to emphasize that Katja and her team did there best and a god job in trying to fix everything that was adressed.
