It is situated in a very good area. The chalets needs to be cleaned and cockroaches must be fumigated. Have an entertainment area for kids under 12. Have a mini shop and a mini bar. Have clean dishes and pots.

Dear Sonto, Thank you for your comments, our guests feedback is always appreciated. Just a small correction, we don't have a mini bar or shop on site. We are very close to the town of Sabie where there are shops etc available. We will certainly look into your critique on the cleanliness of the chalets. We pride ourselves on the... More

We had a wonderful stay at Sabi Star chalets with fresh fluffy towels and clean accommodation. The beds were comfortable, the managers and staff friendly and helpful, and beautiful well kept surroundings. The breakfast was also very good. We shall definitely stay here again.

If you value the beauty & tranquility of nature more than the beauty of a lodge... than this is the place to be (the lodges are OK too by the way ;-) but it's not luxurious )... I would recommend it to all my friends. Great place, very friendly & helpfull management, .... Price/value = top greetz from Belgium

The location of the accommodation is perfect between the picturesque escarpment with its vistas and waterfalls and the spectacular game viewing below in the lowveld. The relaxed atmosphere with braai facilities and swimming pool creates a good way to recharge your batteries. Bring your binoculars for the bird life too!

Perfect get away from busy life of the city. Was an extremely relaxing, comfortable stay. It could have been better though if there was airconditioning in the chalet. Hospitality was excellent. Thanks

Sabi Star is very peaceful and tranquil, just what one needs to get away from the hustle and bustle of city. Shaun was very friendly and prepared the best breakfast for us. They also have friendly dogs in the premises, Misty, their Greyhound is a bit intimidating at first when you need her, but after a while you warm up... More

We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay! Thanks for the great review. Sorry about the TV, but you should have let us know!! Each chalet has its own decoder so sometimes difficult for us to pick up it isn't working unless the guest complains. We will certainly investigate the feasibility of adding an additional channel. Misty is missing you... More

I spent four nights at Sabi Star Chalets, with two friends and had a great time. It's perfect for a peaceful break and the people are really helpful and friendly. They have their own waterfall that is as good, if not better than some of the sites that are open to the public. Sitting around the fire pit at night... More

We enjoyed our stay in a standard cottage. It was really spacious and well equipped. Our one year old baby was very happy with the bath and huge livingroom to play. We were especially happy with the second bedroom for the baby :) The surroundings are lush and green, like paradise. The location is good, near Sabie.

It was wonderful having all of you visit in October. The 6 berth is nice and spacious! We are happy you enjoyed your stay and enjoyed the gardens and environment. I know you and your family are from very far away, but if ever visiting the area again I hope you will visit us again! Regards Shawne and Sharon More
