Booked to go to Mallorca with a friend for after we finished our A levels and what a perfect holiday we had. First of all the staff were absolutely amazing- polite, helpful and a very enthusiastic entertainment crew! We had a slight issue with our airport transfer from the hotel and Reception couldn’t have been more helpful- the lady was on hold for at least 10 minutes trying to sort it out for us. The food was very nice, good variety and lots of options with themed nights. The drinks are also very nice, generous amount of alcohol and cocktails are all good (some aren’t included on all inclusive). Our room was absolutely beautiful we got a sea and pool view which we didn’t pay for which was incredible. The room and bathroom itself was clean and very modern. The location is a little bit isolated but it is only a 15-20 minute walk into Magaluf which we didn’t mind doing. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the beach and you can go in the sea from 2 points from the hotel itself which was amazing! However I would watch out for the lifeguard flags because we didn’t see they put the jellyfish one up and several people from the hotel got stung. There is a slight issue with sunbeds as people were reserving them the evening before but didn’t affect us too much. You can rent paddle boards from the hotel which we did one day and there’s some pretty coves that you can easily paddle out to as long as it’s not too windy! The swimming pool was a lovely temperature but very deep! The cave bar is so beautiful and there are themed nights with bingo every night before! However, you have to get there quite early to get a table. Overall we had a wonderful stay and I would DEFINITELY go back!!!…
We stayed here for 7 nights in June for a relaxing holiday as mother and daughter. The hotel itself is beautiful, stunning views we had no issues with our room it was cleaned everyday and the air-con was very welcomed! The food was lovely it has a good variety each day, one criticism would be there was not always labels telling you what each item was which unfortunate as it meant some dishes weren’t tried just in case! They have an average drink selection, a few of my favourite cocktails weren’t included but really enjoyed having their version of baileys every evening at the cave bar or sat on our balcony playing cards! The issue with the sun beds is as bad as everyone’s reviews.. because of a few people who can’t abide by the rules you adapt an ‘If you can’t beat them join them’ policy just so you have somewhere to lay out! We along with others complained to the hotel to be told there is nothing they can do and actually encouraged us to take peoples towels off the sun beds! It is frustrating when you can see reserved sun beds that haven’t been used all day and people are walking round in circles looking for somewhere to sit but I don’t don’t see it changing anytime soon! Would recommend upgrading €10 each to use the ‘VIP’ area with sun beds, bar and pool we did this on our last day and wished we had done it sooner it was so peaceful a welcome change from being by the pool. The hotel is in a quiet spot but with a bus running from just outside the hotel to get into Magaluf was 2 minutes away, Palma Nova 5 and Palma about half an hour you had options to get out and about! A little tip use your bank card on the bus as it works out cheaper then paying with euros and remember your masks as they won’t let you on without one! Overall we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!…
Been to the Cala Vinas before ( last year) but this year the sunbed situation is awful. People reserving sun beds the night before is out of order. I counted all 74 beds along the front were reserved the previous night, this is totally unfair and rude. The management need to start removing towels in the evening, it is simply resolved by doing this. Lucki;y we upgraded and were able to use the terrace on Floor 5 and get a sun bed no problem. They also do not have toiletries, even a razor or shower cap . why ??? On a positive the food is wonderful, great choice. Hotel is nice and clean and staff very friendly. JUST SORT THE SUNBED SITUATION OUT !
We arrived for a week holiday on 28th June there was 7 in our party . First impression the hotel looked lovely and the location beautiful. We left our cases in our room and went for a wander hadn’t been in the hotel an hour before we were warned by fellow holiday makers about the sunbeds or lack of…… It seemed that it was ok to leave you towel 24/7 on your chosen bed for the whole of your holiday, which subsequently lead to no beds being available, and also the pool area not been cleaned or tidied up after each day. It was only by chance we found a VIP sun deck with plunge pool which we used for 10€ a day but not everyone could get on there as numbers are limited. The housekeeping of the rooms were great but around the hotel it lacked , but that was probably due to lack or staff which seemed to be apparent especially in the restaurant, some of the chefs were working flat out to keep up with the demand of freshly cooked food, which was great! Make sure you pack mozzie spray as they seem particularly nasty. If you want a quiet holiday then it perfect, personally it would of been nice to have a few bars, restaurants and shops to wander too, as the evening entertainment was dull and you had to bag a table early . Apparently this hotel has recently been taken over so if they can iron out the teething troubles it would be a super hotel .…
Just returned from a week here. Good hotel, spotlessly clean, beds comfortable, good showers, always plenty of hot water. Food very good, always a good choice of meats, fish, salads etc. Profiteroles to die for! Great, very quiet location, amazing views from hotel balconies. Not so good points: Towels on sunbeds, nothing to add, most has been said. We arrived at four in the morning and I think 90% of the sunbeds already had towels on them! Nowhere except the pool bar to have a drink before dinner, all other bars open at 7.00 p.m., same time as dinner starts In our room was a card saying that we could book a late check out room on our final day, it was our choice how long we booked it for. Thought it would be a great idea as we would not be flying back until 2.00 a.m. and had to check out of the room by 11.00 a.m. the previous day. Went to reception to book this virtually as soon as we arrived and got a resounding 'no, not available. But my partner likes a sleep in the afternoon sometimes, well, he was told he could sleep on the settees in reception!!!! Mmmm, I don't think so! So we didn't get a late room, although advertised. One thing that really did get on my nerves, they need a dress code for the evening in the restaurant. I got fed up with seeing boobs about to fall out of the clothes onto the plates, shorts cut so short that you could see the women's butt cheeks and women wearing bralets into dinner, they might as well just have worn their underwear. I am not an old prude but please let's have a bit of decorum and etiquette at evening meal time! Entertainment wasn't great, the Motown guys were very good, Michael Buble didnt look or indeed sound like Michael Buble and the Lady Gaga/ Burlesque thing, just didn't work at all. Two grumpy points, our towel pegs were stolen off both our sunbeds and although we didn't go out of the hotel during the week we both came back testing positive for Covid! Would I stay here again, yes absolutely, it would take a lot of beating!…
The hotel rooms need updating but the location and views are fantastic. I have been here numerous times but they have now started allowing single sex groups which has diminished the quality somewhat. The biggest issue is that the hotel allows people to leave towels on sunbeds overnight and therefore it is impossible to get a sunbed unless you are prepared to be totally selfish and block other people out permanently I only want to use a sunbed for a couple of hours when I need to and there is no opportunity to do this.
Great Hotel full profesional service I can fully recommand this hotel for everyone who want to spend great time with your friends or couples, the room service is great reception is amazing the pool bars fully with the drinks etc. You have to!
Very clean hotel, helpful staff. There’s a lot of choice for food every day is different. Room gets cleaned everyday. Loved the pool and the views, beach right outside the hotel. 5 mins by taxi to magaluf. Couldn’t have asked for a better hotel.
Great place to stay on great staff Google Ford Just pperfect transport are wery easy bus stop Just outside and í Will recomend this hotel looking forward to Come again free sunbeds pool is good and the sem is rignt there to
Adult only hotel. Fabulous location, lovely food, lots of choice, entertainment in the cave was good. Can keep towels on loungers so you get 1 the next day but people who hired the towels from hotel would leave them on and go home so there was lots looking like they were taken but actually not in use. Nothing much round the hotel but it's a 20 min walk to magaluf. Great hotel to just chill.
