We stayed for 11 days in this resort. Our apartment was lovely, but a little dated. It was equipped with everything you need except a washing machine and the balcony was huge with spectacular views over the harbour and the cliffs. The breakfasts were very good in the small select dining room, the evening meals were average but the quiet...

The Royal Sun is Russian owned. It is very well ran with very friendly staff. Our room was cleaned every day and the towels were renewed. I've never stayed anywhere with such a fantastic veiw, the town and sea below us the Gigantes cliffs to our left. The balconies are massive. The rooms have a very functional Kitchen with fridgefreezer and even a dishwasher...

The Royal Sun Resort is like a great cruise ship sitting majestically at the top of Los Gigantes providing panoramic views of the town, sea and famous cliffs. It offers self catering apartments along with two restaurants, a swimming pool/sun area, a shop, gym and a bar with entertainment. The public areas are a little dowdy but the apartments are...

We had a very nice week at the spacious rooms and a large balcony with a stunning view to the rocks and the ocean. I got a nice surprise from the hotel on my birthday which was very heart-warming. The weather was perfect. It was quite short walk downwards to the town but hard to walk back up the hill....

We were only in town for one night but we would return for a quiet comfortable holiday. Our apartment was comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed, including robes, slippers & hairdryers. The apartments are at the very top of the hill which means a 15 min walk or cab ride into town - this also means you get peace and quiet...

Nice large apartment and very clean. Serviced, clean bedding, and ample towels. No towels for pool though. The apartment could do with a little updating, but good for the price we paid. It has a very large balcony with sea view. The Sun Resort is at the top of a hill so you need to be mobile however we enjoyed...

Just returned from our second holiday at The Royal Sun. The apartments are very spacious and comfortable. Staff are very good and friendly with cleaners everyday and they give plenty of towels inc bath robes and slippers. Breakfast is stunning with stunning views from all rooms, balconies and restaurants. Would definitely return again and again

We have visited Tenerife before los Cristianos and las America's when we've enjoyed good weather . We booked los gigantes for the same reason ,what sold the Royal Sun to us was sea facing views , we were very happy with the room size separate bedroom and walk in shower , however the size of the balcony and wonderful view...

The rooms are apartments (with kitchen, cookware, etc), with huge patios over looking the ocean. Very reasonably priced. A short walk down the road is a great restaurant- Mama Lucias - which I highly recommend. Also love that they have a little market at the hotel, where you can buy food, drink, etc.

Pros: HUGE ROOMS! This place must be a time share or condos and are renting out their vacant rooms. We had a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a 600sq ft patio....not the typical hotel. For the price, it is a win, but bring your own towels and clean your own room... Cons: Nobody cleans the rooms?!? We had our "please clean"...

Next to the swimming pools is the pool bar "Oasis Abraxas", supplying the perfect refreshments to keep you cool whilst sunbathing. From elegant dining in "Aqua" restaurant, managed by Lucas Maes, one of the prestigious Canarian chefs, to thematic buffets in the sophisticated "Regency" restaurant with its splendid views, the range of restaurants within the complex serves every taste. For evening entertainment, try the impressive "Imperial" bar and lounge, complete with an entertainment area where regular shows take place. If you like a bit of activity, the modern gym and the aerobics room should keep you busy. One hundred and twenty apartments are spread over six floors, linked by corridors and lifts. There are studios, one-bedroom, two-bedrooms and three-bedrooms apartments, all spacious and comfortable with designer furnishings including air conditioning in lounge areas, satellite flat screen TV, direct dial telephone and a complete kitchen.
