Royal St. Kitts Hotel, a family-run business formerly known as Jack Tar Village for over 20 years, is back with a new look, feel, and focus on Kittitian Culture. Here, you'll rediscover your playful side and learn what it means to "lime", a Kittitian term for hanging out and just getting away from it all. Our Kittitian-focused philosophy, which aims to deliver an authentic island experience, is infused into every aspect of our services and facilities. It's no wonder then that Royal St. Kitts Hotel won the Most Creative Business Award at the St. Kitts Tourism Authority's 2008-09 Tourism Awards.

The Royal is a great place to live, though a bit on the expensive side especially for students on island. One of the biggest perks is Jasma the front desk receptionist. She always tries her best to make living here as comfortable as possible and she makes herself approachable which makes voicing any concerns very easy and she usually resolves them quickly. She's a big reason for why I extended my lease from one term/semester to a year.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights from 3rd November 2021 and was very impressed with the room, grounds, restaurant and staff. The receptionist who was working on 4th and 6th November was extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant meals were lovely and the hotel is very well situated with good facilities and lovely swimming pools.

The best thing about this hotel are the truly accommodating staff members from security to the amazing chefs! The room was clean and spacious (efficiency) with everything you need. The hotel sits in a lovely lake (see picture) and the food was delicious. The room rates are best if you stay more than one month and many quiet medical or veterinary students live here for 9-12 month. For breakfast get Fruit with Johnny Cakes! Doc Willis Aug 2022

We had a great stay at the Royal St. Kitts Hotel. The hotel lobby is beautiful and the grounds are lovely. We had a two-bedroom suite with a kitchen and living room. Everything was new and comfortable and the service and food were excellent.
