The resort publicises itself as a Beach Resort. However, the Beach is crowded with invasions of fleets of squibs and Jet Skis plying for trade, with frequent arrivals and departures. Also, large tour boats load and unload about 50 passengers twice daily who cross the beach to get from and to their coaches. The beach loungers are supposedly for registered guests but are often filled by non-guests – identified by their non-hotel towels - there are no checks (minimum provision for guests). When you get into the sea, it is very pleasant and enjoyable to swim. However, the sand sticks to your feet when exiting onto the beach - there is no shower provided to wash the sand and salt off. The resort restaurant food is very variable depending on which cook is on duty. The average food quality is poor. Best food is at the Sunday buffet cooked by the oriental chef. The resort reception is pokey. For groceries, there is a supermarket ~ 20 minute walk from the resort. The resort provides no information about it. No on-site shop. Staff are pleasant. The Room: Nice vaulted ceiling. Air conditioning works and is controllable. Nice bed and sheets. Old fashioned blanket. Pillows lumpy. Bathroom ok. Shower floor is mosaic of broken pieces of tiles - does not flow cleanly into drain. Cannot see that it is clean. Shower head is a little spigot on the end wall. Hot water (in the bathroom and kitchen) takes 20 minutes to arrive – wasting water. Shower control has 360 Degree tap - guess at the setting. Temperature fluctuates. Kitchen is very mixed. New equipment but no pans for oven. No drinking glasses (we went to supermarket and bought some). Nice balcony – gets blinded after 1pm. Access door is very stiff. Fly screen on door works fine. Fly screen on window is hanging off. Housekeeping use string mops that redistribute dirty water and leave fluff debris. Door to the room needs a new lock. No room safe – for laptops and valuables. Not sensible to go to access small safety boxes in reception room. They shut at 9pm.

We finally made it back to Timothy Beach after 2 years of covid shut down and we were not sure what we would find due to many changes...a lot of construction and new expansion as well as the challenge for them to stay afloat during pandemic. We were so happy to find they not only survived, but also improved the beach area, maintained rooms in great shape and staff is still professional, friendly, and do anything to accommodate any requests or issues. There is some quite loud construction going on next door and when we first arrived we thought it might make it very difficult to enjoy our stay, but after a few days we were able to "block it out". We had a very difficult time getting all requirements to enter St. Kitts submitted, but Laurel and Shelda at front desk went above and beyond to get us there! We go back every year (this was our 16th) because everything we need/want is right there...lovely pool, great beach, bar and restaurant, proximity to the strip, comfortable clean rooms, and the best staff ever!! Did I mention the spectacular sunsets? I highly recommend you stay here if you want to feel "at home" As soon as we leave with a heavy heart we are thinking about returning the following year. I would recommend you go to Lion Rock Beach, fish with Speedy 4, and take an island tour with Uncle Millie or Alphonso!! Relax, enjoy, and "rush slowly".

Timothy Beach is located on the Caribbean side of the island and I think this is the most important factor when selecting your hotel. The staff are helpful and efficient and whilst the hotel would ideally benefit from modernisation it is immaculately clean and well run. It was probably built in the 70’s with rooms contained in a number of blocks. The rooms are spacious and have everything you would expect from a 3 star rating, most have large balconies particularly those with sea views. The restaurant and Dock bar are reasonably priced but don’t expect rapid service, this is Caribbean time at its best!

Thank you to the Timothy Beach Resort staff. everyone we encountered was so lovely. This little gem of a resort is amazing. Room was clean, bed was good. We had breakfast at Sunset Cafe every morning and it was delicious. The view from our huge balcony was second to none. Enjoyed having the fridge for our cool drinks. The proximity of this resort to all the bars and restaurants is fantastic. If you cannot find food to your liking you best learn to stay home. shout outs to Jody Ann, Kimberly, Anisha, and Kevanaugh at the Dock bar. We sure hope to return to your little piece of paradise soon.

A bit of a mix First the good - While the rooms felt tired as others have reported, everything worked, it was handy to have a fridge, kettle, etc. Rooms were quite large. - Location is excellent for the strip, we ate at a different restaurant every night, all were good - Hotel bar on beach was great, esp for happy hour, efficient friendy bar staff. The not so good Chairs on the beach were very poorly managed, we tended to be out most of the day, getting back at about 4pm, hoping for a sundowner on the beach. - On the second day we had to wait for 2 chairs, when we sat down the family of 4 next to us said they paid 20USD each for the chairs, and they were on a cruise ship (as we could see by their wrist bands) We spoke to reception about this and they seemed somewhat indifferent about my comments - On the 4th day there was the usual lack of chairs at 4pm when we came back from our day, we sat next to a family again that didn't seem like guests. After striking up a conversation it turned out they were locals, came down periodically, then the young daughter let slip they were family of a hotel worker. - On all the days the staff wanted to knock off at 17:00 sharp (sun only sets after 18:00), and started removing chairs and umbrellas at 16:30 (even umbrellas still being used) On one occasion I made it clear they were not to remove the umbrella till sunset , and after a colourful conversation including me suggesting they call the police, they let me pack up our chairs and umbrella when finished There were a number of others that also had a similar problem with the beach chairs, so you may see other similar feedback (I suggested they feed back on TA). One elderly couple were disappointed they had to come down to the beach first thing to get a chair, another couple who came down a bit later one day had to go down the beach and rent chairs (etc) I was going to give this review 1*, but the efficient & friendly bar staff means it needs to be upgraded to 2*.

Hotel needs to stop renting out limited beach chairs to people from the cruise ships. We have paid for the hotel services and this is totally unacceptable when there are so few available for guests. Get your act together and treat your guests with respect.

I stayed at Timothy Beach Resort for 1 week in February and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. From check in check out was exceptional. The same agent that checked me in was the same to to check and I must say throughout the entire stay, she was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Don't know if I have the spelling correct but her name is Laurelle. The Resort on a whole met our expectations. Not a 5 star but exactly what we were looking. I would definitely be back and recommend it to friends and family.

We enjoyed our time at the resort. Close to some restaurants and right on the beach. Walking distance from 2 small Rams grocery stores. Little more expensive than in Canada. We brought some peanut butter, cheese, butter etc.. with us. They have everything you need. But sometimes they are out off stock. Also in walking distance is a breakfast place Rituals and Sweet and savory. We really enjoyed the Sweet and savory place. Try the Johnny cake. The hotel has a restaurant and on Sunday a buffet for $33 us. We didn't go there. We had rented a car for a week, and got a tip from the rental associate to go to "food courts" We were told that it was good? You have to get your Beach towels at the reception! They dry them outside and if it rains sometimes they don't have enough towels available . It's great to see ofcourse that they are drying natural. Even if it gives a little inconvenience.1 day in the 1st week they had rented out some beach chairs to cruise ship people. So they didn't have enough for there own quest. I quess people complained. Because that issue was resolved. Rooms are cleaned quite late. The resort has older style of rooms, but are clean and big. And had a little fridge, coffe maker and water cooker. Bring your own tea, they don't provide that ! We had a lovely big balcony sitting area and 2 loungers. With a beautiful view of the ocean. Amazing!!!There is some construction going on at the hotel and around. Still we are happy we chose this hotel. The pool is renovated. Small but nice pool and some seating area and loungers. Everybody is very friendly. If we would go to St Kitts again we would definitely stay at Timothy's.

The location is the best. The rooms are a bit dated and could use a few more amenities like a kettle and a microwave. The place was very clean and well maintained grounds and pool area. It really is good value for your money. The service in the restaurant needs to be better and because of it we ended up going to close-by restaurants instead.
