Had a wonderfully relaxing week here. Hotel/motel old and well 'loved' but price, friendliness of the staff right on the Caribbean Sea. Rooms are not up-scale about them but clean. Tiny refrigerator, could have used a somewhat larger one. Recommend if you are looking for...More
Just returned from a 10 night stay on the island. Overall, the property is clean and well maintained. We found the staff to be courteous and helpful. Located within walking distance to many bars and restaurants, it makes for a good base location while staying...More
Arrival and check in was pretty fast, however they omitted to inform and provide us with blue tickets which was necessary at breakfast time. The blue ticket indicates breakfast is included in your package. So every morning I was billed separately for breakfast and had...More

Timothy Beach Resort, St. Kitts. What can I say? We did not enjoy you. From your snotty (literally and personality) reception staff, to your rude waitresses, to your lack of cream for coffee, to your lumpy squeeky beds pushed together to make a king and...More
Just back from 33 days at TBR and everything was brilliant. Reception staff could not have been more helpful, one of the girls even lent us a teapot from her home as my husband drinks 3 cups of tea to start his day. Laurel and...More

One huge tip. TIMOTHY hill is the exact place a man named Charsley sits and abuse baby monkeys A man named Charsley sits up there with a baby monkey trying to get money for pictures. My horrible experience was he handed me a 4 week old baby monkey he had beat up with a bleeding fat lip he tried to say was berries. Come to find out every islander knows of this man,. He has tore baby monkeys heads off, thrown them out cars, and beaten them until they were convulsing in front of tourist if you don't take the monkey for money. He is banded from having a monkey, and the islanders call the police but they are tired of putting him in jail so they've given up. He is also dangerous to tourist. He becomes violent when you don't take the monkey. He has hit and pushed a70 year old lady and a little girl along with threatening with a knife and scissors at the monkeys throat. Be careful on the tours.one lady was so scared she wouldn't get off the bus. See more at STOP THE ST KITTS MONKEY ABUSER on Facebook. Call the police if you see him. LINSDAY GRANT TOURISM MINISTER who is supposed to protect the tourist will not respond to the over 150k request to get him off the streets. RUINED OUR TRIP HORRIBLE FOR THE KIDS

St. Kitts is an interesting and beautiful little island and it is fun to drive around and to go the various beaches available. It is also a great place for sight seeing. Taxi fees to some of the beaches on the south peninsula are quite steep when you pay for both ways. So the answer is that you don't need to have a car because of our very convenient location on the beach in beautiful Frigate Bay, but if you love to explore new places and have more freedom, then I would recommend renting a car. If you are interested in renting a car during your visit, please contact us at the email address listed on TripAdvisor or our website and we will be happy to send you our list of recommendations.
