It took multiple phone calls to both the resort management and the covid testing lab to get our lab results. They didn’t upload by the time they said they will. Covid testing was a nightmare. They didn’t somehow put us on the schedule for the lab testing after numerous calls to coordinate. Next, they spelled my name on covid testing specimen wrong despite giving them clear instructions. Then they corrected it but entered the specimen collection date wrong. I’m just extremely unhappy with this place. It was my first and last time. I’d recommend people to go to the Hyatt instead. They know how to take care of their customers so much better, speaking from my past experience. While we understand that covid has impacted hours of operation for stores and restaurants within the resort, there is an extensive construction going on. This impacted our entire stay. Oh and by the way, the breakfast muffin at FIRE restaurant had fungus in it. Will certainly not return and will recommend our group of friends in Maryland against staying here.

Do not try to come here during the pandemic. I'm here right now for another 5 days. There is a single place open to get drinks and it's a small beverage cart on wheels by the small paol. The main poor has fencing all the way around it it and it's not open. There's a single restaurant open and getting food is incredibly difficult! They have no vending machines but will charge you room service fees for a soda. We have been Marriott owners for 30 + years. We've been to Marriotts all over the world. This is not a Marriott experience! We are spending a lot of money here and nothing is open. They ran out of beer at the pool bar the only bar open period on our second day. Guests are constantly having to ask for music to be played by the pool. Bottom line, this place should NOT be open . They also had a bunch of cricket players staying here and they took over half the resort including the only indoor bar. There's a big sign outside the bar saying private party and it's going to be there the entire week! When in there last night they told me a beer and when I set down they kicked me out. There were 2 people in the entire place and they still kicked us out. This is by far the worst Marriott experience I've ever had. I'm actually tempted to get rid of my timeshare with them. The seaweed on the beach is absolutely crazy too.

Hi Marc, thank you for your review of your current stay at Marriott's St. Kitts Beach Club. We are saddened to learn that you are not enjoying your stay with us. We apologize if you were not made aware of the status of our amenities prior to arrival with us. The Cricket group is staying at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort (which shares the same campus as us), the scheduled of the shared amenities should have been provided at check-in but is also available through a Click Banner on our website. We do ask that you share your feedback with the Front Desk leadership onsite. Thank you for being a Vacation Club owner, we hope to provide a better experience during a future stay.

We spent a week at the Marriott and had the BEST time, despite the many Covid restrictions in place. The main pool was closed, and the beach is still full of seaweed, but the other two pools are open and the Marriott provided a complimentary shuttle on Thursday and Friday to other beaches on the island. It was a great way to explore the island! Molisha was so helpful at setting up an excursion to Nevis for the day and Craig made sure we had transportation every night coming back from the Strip, just a 5 minute taxi ride to local bars/restaurants. We stayed out until curfew, which was at 11pm each night and always felt safe knowing that Craig would be there to drive us back to the resort. He really went the extra mile to make sure we were able to have a good time! Those two staff members made our trip so memorable and fun!!! You must check out Arwee for the best sushi and La Cucina for Italian, both restaurants on site. Also, check out Timothy's Hill, a nice hike from the resort, 30 minutes each way or get a taxi to take you. As long as you have realistic expectations for traveling during Covid, this is a wonderful place to visit. We were there from Saturday to Saturday. They do testing on site, $150 US and we tested on Wednesday morning and had our results back by 4pm that day and then we were allowed to leave the resort! Thank you Marriott for providing an excellent vacation experience! We will be back!

This is a great place to stay as long as you understand that the resort is functioning under heavy governmental and societal restrictions during COVID. First and foremost the resort rooms and staff are very good. The rooms are outfitted as the same as other MVC resorts so you know what you are getting a nice 1/2/3 bedrooms and a kitchen and a balcony. Cleanliness and amenities were no different than other MVC places we've stayed. Currently the island has a lot of restrictions for tourists and in general. It is a pandemic after all. You need to get a negative covid test before arriving and then on the 4th day you need to test negative again before you leave the resort. The resort schedules all of this for you and you don't need to leave the property to take the test. The staff have no control of this and should be commended for doing a ton with very little to work with. As for the pools they are in decent condition but they are currently renovating the main one and the other 2 are open for use but are due to be repaired once the main one is done. We researched and got notification of this and with us having 3 kids we didn't experience any inconvenience with the pools we used. They had bingo, pool toys, and a bar that served very delicious and very potent drinks. The only negative is the beach is getting pummeled with seaweed and they do have their tractor out there trying to clean it up but there is just too much to keep ahead of. They can't do much about it but the ocean isn't something our family wanted to swim in. The beach/sand itself is in good shape though. They have a liquor store, jewelry store, and 2 gift shops that you can get clothes, sunscreen, toiletries, and other odds and ends should you need it during your quarantine. We got room service one day and dined at the Fire restaurant one day. It was good but I say that knowing that they are doing what they can with what they have to work with. I think anyone that is looking to travel this resort needs to know that they are currently in a renovation process (A good time too because we experienced like 10% occupancy while we were here). By this time next year I expect it to be at the top of its game but we enjoyed it immensely while we were here!

As titanium members we have traveled all over the world with Marriott and this is one we regret. The staff at the hotel are extremely friendly and provide great customer service so the review is definitely not based on them. Simply, the Marriott St Kitts Beach Club or the connected St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino are NOT beach resorts especially if your desire is to get in the ocean. In fact, the palapas or beach huts are so far from the water that you can tell the hotel design was created without that experience in mind. Not to mention half the year the beach area is covered with algae which as much as they try Monday-Friday (not weekends) to clean it out with trucks, it is still extremely noticeable and makes enjoying the water basically impossible. In addition, the use of the trucks have created a no trespassing zone that prevents hotel guests from truly enjoying a walk through the coast (this is unfortunate because there is a bay a short 10 minute walk from the property which is decent but hotel rules don’t allow access even when trucks not operating) Advice - save your money and/or Marriott points and visit a different Marriott beach resort
