Dinner was wonderful, really good. But the hotel, oh my God, so bad... I told to the receptionist my concerns, and he only answered that my room was one of the best.. Distgusting smell of sewer everywere, walls dirthy and with holes, the bed with more matresses, and with uncared refurbishment, blanket on the bed was full of brown stains,...

We Did enjoy our stay. But sadly we have to confirm the views expressed in previous reviews that the Hotel has seen better days. A lot was invested in period decor and fittings some time maybe 15-20 years ago. This still shows in the double sink units wonderful shaving mirror and spa bath and shower. However it's now very much...

A charming Hotel with a superb kitchen offering delightful meals for a reasonable price. We stayed here for 3 nights in July 2016. Our room was spacious comfortable and very clean. Equipped with a small TV, refrigerator and air-conditioning (although during our stay the airco was not working). The bed was soft and very comfortable and the bathroom full of...

We booked a three days' "gastronomic arrangement' in La Tour du Roy. Unfortunately it was somewhat disappointing. Airconditioning did not work, even though the temperature was a sweltering 34 centigrades upon arrival. The management offred vague stories to explain about this lack of service. There was no wifi in the hotelroom either. The food was okay, but not of excellent...

My wife and I had stayed at the Tour du Roy about 12 -15 years ago, always regarded it as one of our favourite hotels and promised ourselves that we would go back one day. I suppose we were on a nostalgia trip, which is not always wise, and indeed we found that in the intervening years there were signs...

I like old and quirky buildings, this Hotel has so much potential and has beautiful features but it's tired and rundown.. Needs investment and redecorating massively and a good deep clean! orange walls, pink carpets and mis match furniture, cracks and general disrepair. We ordered a double room with a double bed. There was a double headboard with two single...

Our room was up 2 flight of stairs, the second very narrow and steep. The room itself had limited headroom. The aircon did not work, the mini fridge did not work and it took a lot of time and effort to get wifi. When we arrived the waiter merely said wifi did not work. Next morning the lady serving breakfast...

We booked a "Deluxe room with balcony/patio" through Hotels.com. The reason for choosing the most expensive room was solely for the balcony as the weather was gorgeous so had no intention of sitting in the room for the eve. On arrival were met by an older lady ( ? the owner ) She showed us to a pleasant room upstairs...

We liked the secure parking, our room was large and attractive. The hotel is old, historic, and some parts need refurbishing. But, our room was lovely and we enjoyed only one night because we were traveling.Didn't eat in the hotel but owner was very friendly and nice. Would go back again. And, a fair price.

my wife and I stayed one night en route South. The Hotel is a delightful historic building, with a mediaeval tower. It is well furnished and very comfortable. Several rooms have their own terrace. Parking is secure and private. We were made to feel very welcome by the attentive and friendly staff. We had dinner in the historic and beautifully...
