A welcome return to this fabulous place - Hilary & Denis were as friendly and efficient as ever. The room we had was beautifully furnished with a huge and very comfy bed. The en-suite bathroom is enormous with plenty of hot water for an invigorating shower after a long journey from Brittany. Breakfast was, as ever, excellent and substantial although... More

Hillary and David are excellent hosts! Our room was very comfortable and spacious! Coffee and tea was available in the breakfast room. The nice continental breakfast was a good way to start our next day of walking!

We stayed for 4 nights. The room Angelique was large and comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious and served in the garden. Denis and Hilary are welcoming and friendly hosts. The house is full of character. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance as the house is in the village. Parking is always available on the street. We enjoyed our stay and... More

We were lucky to stay here when attending a family wedding nearby. Loved this building with its fantastic original features, which are complimented by the high standards and attention to detail Hilary and Denis provide. The breakfasts were memorable with delicious locally baked breads and pastries. Visited the friendly bar in the vilaage and chatted to some locals who said... More

Full marks for comfort cleanliness and friendly atmosphere a haven in Bize. Continental Breakfast served alfresco weather permitting, a small pool with sun beds and sun shades just the spot to relax. Tea and coffee available throughout the day. A comfortable television room with French and English programms available.

Really impressed with this B&B. I was attending a wedding in a nearby chateau and this was recommended as place to stay. The house itself is lovely, the rooms are large and traditional but still with modern bathrooms etc so very comfortable. There is also a guest lounge and pool and terrace as well as indoor and outdoor dining areas.... More

A beautiful guesthouse set in a small French village. Makes for a really authentic French experience! The owners Hilary and Dennis are lovely, welcoming people and the guesthouse itself is absolutely beautiful. Very central in Bize Minervois, with a pool, nice garden and beautiful interior. A top class experience all round. 10/10

We spent four nights at Maison des Palmiers and had a wonderful stay. Hilary and Dennis couldn't have been more attentive, the room was very comfortable, lovely terrace (with complementary afternoon tea and delicious homemade biscuits) and very nice breakfast. Bize is a pretty place to visit with a decent choice of places to eat. It's also a good base... More

All things great about our 2 night break in a beautiful part of France. Room was very comfortable. An honourable draw between our hosts taking their turn with the breakfasts. Nice choice of local restaurants for evening meals with bookings made by hosts.
