Very dated hotel but very clean with a great Breakfast. The owner does everything makes you Breakfast. Full Irish Breakfast if you want he is also the Barman and the waiter . He also showed us to our room, the personal touch! Some of the 5 star hotels don't have this amazing customer service. Room had an ocean view and...

We spent 1 night here after getting back from Isle of Mull. The staff was very accommodating on arrival and showed us our room and a few key items to note about the shower and local information. Our room was clean and a good size. We stopped in at the restaurant to check it out for dinner and the owner...

We spent an overnight at the Lochnell Arms in Oban on our way to the Highlands. This property has recently changed hands. It was a bit tired and could do with some upgrading. I know it is a very old building. The room we had was bright and clean. A new shower would not go amiss. These are only cosmetic...

We stopped in here for sunday carvery on a weeks break in August. Eating out with a new baby and a toddler can be tricky but the staff here made us feel so at home! The waitress went above and beyond pouring my son out a small bowl of soup and cooling it down before bringing it over, helping me...

While the room was clean, the shower had terribly low water pressure and would switch constantly from really really hot to freezing cold. There is little to no staff around so it feels very impersonal. Breakfast was lacking; the sausage we ordered never came out.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The view from our room was stunning! Had dinner at the restaurant downstairs and that was so handy! Breakfast was great with many choices. Parking was convenient with lots of space.

Just returned home from my 4th stay ( B&B ) at this hotel and will be sure to return. The staff are extremely friendly and always welcoming. My colleagues and I ate within the hotel restaurant on the evening of our stay. There was a really good selection of food on offer which was reasonably priced and subsequently cooked to...

My husband and I had a wonderful time and would stay there again if and when the opportunity presents itself. Good food served by friendly personnel. The proprietor cares with all his heart for the comfort of his guests. We felt like part of the family. Cannot think of a thing that was not satisfactory.

We had a nice triple room overlooking the water and it was very comfortable and clean. The restaurant had a varied menu which was also to our liking. This hotel was very convenient for catching the ferry in Oban the next day and was in a quiet location.
