Super staff, great food, nice bedrooms, special location...the lovely surprise was it was all faultless ! Such a lovely atmosphere in the bar with open fires and authentic setting. Restaurant a little hygienic and requiring some personality but can't fault the great breakfasts.

This well-located Inn is an excellent option for an overnight stay prior to travelling South after arriving in Oban on an evening Ferry. The rooms are small but well equipped, the beds were particularly comfortable An attractive price which included a well proportioned and very tasty breakfast. Recommended

Bar area and restaurant are lovely and seem to have been kept up to date. Food was wonderful for both dinner and breakfast. However, the room we stayed in was old and very tired. Lots of marks over the walls, two lampshades with cracks all over them, and the bathroom was very very outdated with a lack of water pressure in the shower. Room definitely needs a freshen up of some sort but was fine just for a night. If I were staying for longer I’d want a fresher room for the price, but for one night it was fine and the ease of just walking downstairs to the pub for a good dinner outweighed the outdated room. The staff were friendly (especially a woman in the pub area serving food) and it was also dog friendly in the pub area.

we had 2 rooms for 2 nights. Rooms lovely and clean with comfortable bed. Dog friendly which was important for us. Food was fantastic, we had breakfast and dinner both days and staff extremely friendly and helpful. The inn was perfect for our stay to visit Oban and surrounding area.
