The room was fine. I didn't go in the pool but it looked nice and the area around it with sun loungers was very pleasant. The hotel seems to work well and you can get an early breakfast if you have to leave for a ferry or plane. Breakfast is OK- lots of choice anyway even if quality isn't that...

Let's start with the good. Excellent location, right on the beach and if you have a seaview room as we did you get a fabulous view of the sunsets every evening. The rooms were clean and comfortable and what you would expect from a 3 star hotel, although the bath was so small as to be little more than a...

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in January/February. Everything about our stay was very good, although the bedroom and bathroom were not particularly large. We were given generous quantities of complimentary bottled water, biscuits and chocolate mints. The breakfast was good, but the dinner buffet in the evening was simply outstanding. The staff were efficient and helpful....

We stayed 5 nights in this hotel. The pool on the roof was great, but we did find that it was diffcult to find a sun-bed, even late in the afternoon, because people would reserve them even when there was no sign of them being around. The hotel was lovely and provided thoughtful touches like a welcome gift of biscuits...

The hotel is just perfect. The room is just the right size and has a fridge. I can't think of a single complaint about the room. It is not stylish or modern, but it is clean and fine for a stay of a few days. The breakfast is good and the views are lovely. The beach across the street is...

My mother and I stayed here for a week in January. We liked this hotel a lot and would definitely go back. The staff on the front desk were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, giving us numerous tips about hiking routes, activities, bus schedules, etc. The rooms were pleasant - not luxurious (3 star is right) but well...

We stayed here as part of a Saga Canary Island Hopping tour and this was the best and most relaxing hotel of the three used even though this was supposedly 3 star and the others on Tenerife and La Palma - 4. We appreciated the quiet situation on the sea front although the slightly untidy site adjacent kept my location...

Anyone looking for a small hotel which rather than add stars actually underplays its status (its 3 stars put UK 3-stars to shame) would do well to book this one. It is ideally located on the seafront and with views of beautiful overhanging cliffs. Not a football shirt in sight. and everyone is very aware of the 'quiet approach' advocated...

Stayed at the Gran Rey overnight in mid September. Booked a sea view but upon arrival the very efficient and helpful receptionist upgraded us to a superior room at no extra cost as we were only there for one night. Room 127 was right on the corner of the hotel, and had absolutely fantastic views of both the seafront and...
