Unfortunately the cottages we stayed in were disappointing for the price paid £189. The finish was shoddy and oven was filthy . Such an irony as the web site promises so much , when we asked about the featured children's play area we had mixed reviews from the staff one stated they had never seen it another said the existing...

I booked two rooms here, and felt more than embarrassed at having to apologise for doing this - which I did, several times over the weekend. I cannot envisage circumstances in which I would stay here again. There were thoughtful touches: a bottle of water in the room, a range of teas, a good amount of space. The paid staff...

I booked this hotel in April for 2 nights - a Friday and a Saturday night. The staff were polite and made sure we knew where everything was and checked we had what we needed. We were asked to leave our keys when we left on the Saturday morning and were told that if we were arriving back later than...

We arrived on Sunday evening and asked for a table..the young lady who served us was polite and helpful..it boded well.. However a few minutes later when we received our food we found that the ham and eggs we ordered were overcooked and without any flavour.. When we protested (we had paid upfront previously) there was no apology, we were...

A holiday in Wales, didn't start very well when we arrived a day too early to book into our cottage for the week!! So,4.30pm we desperately started searching for a bed for the night.....long story short....we found this lovely friendly hotel purely by chance. Our room was spotlessly clean, a meal in the bar was excellent, and the staff couldn't...

T.he service was brilliant despite the fact that we were sat in the garden. The lasagne was had by two of us & we found it very dry while the burgers were really fancied but we found that served in a brioche bun didn't work for us. really fancied the pavlova for desert but unfortunately we didn't have enough time....

Met up for lunch prior to our stay in Snowdon area. Food was fine if not memorable. Decor is rather tired and reminiscent of late 1950's. We were sat by a draughty open door which we closed, we were soon "told off" as the carpet in the hall was been cleaned and it needed "fresh air." There is a diplomatic...

Midday visitors only and on a sunny Saturday very busy with few staff. Very pleasant to sit outside in the sun and enjoy some excellent mountain vistas. Wide selection of bar snacks that did get served eventually, a bit pricy and nothing special. But this is a rated hotel and it is Snowdonia. Asked about room prices and offers, no...

I wish we had stayed here for more than one night. We rented the Cynfal cottage and it was beautiful. Very clean and all the extras you could wish for. DVD, Sky TV in every room, we always carry a USB stick with movies on and this worked in every TV. Upon arrival we had a complementary bottle of wine...
