Had no idea what we were in for since I've never stayed in Takaka, but wish we stayed longer than 2 nights. Ivor & Robyn were so nice & welcoming. Ivor told us about deer velvet & weren't we lucky to be there during roaring! To be so up close to the deer was awesome. The chalet we stayed in...

We had such a fun and pleasant visit at Ivor and Rob's farm. Beautiful property with deer, goats, chickens, ducks and turkeys. The private guest home is large, clean and comfortable. We only stayed 2 nights, a wished we had scheduled a longer visit. Ivor and Rob are both delightful.

My husband and I stayed three nights at this clean, warm and welcoming two bedroom chalet, located on Ivor and Rob's farm. Conveniently located off SH60 just after Takaka Hill, the chalet is high enough on the property for it to be a quiet haven boasting comfortable amenities, and the best bed I've slept in, apart from my own. It...

The scenery and peace and quiet in this area is wonderful. A great place to unwind and take great big breaths of fresh air. The chalet was very comfortable and clean. We loved sitting in front of the fire at night and had a really good night's sleep in the comfy bed

We brought our horses over the hill from Nelson to take part in a fundraising horse trek. We were recommended Ivor and Rob's farmstay as it was close. It couldn't have been more perfect! We arrived to the fire roaring and a very welcoming host. The horses were in heaven in their huge paddock and the girls were in heaven...

Pure chance we passed the gate. Delightful, knowledgeable and very engaging host. Beautiful backdrop scenery to spacious, comfortable accommodation, which is a farm cottage rental. Fantastic sky and such a peaceful place - highly recommended. Sue Duke & Mike

We arrived at Ivor & Rob's Farm unannounced and still we were greeted with open friendly arms. We had had a long day of driving the wyndy roads of New Zealand and couldn't drive another mile. Their farm was the perfect rest stop for an overnight for us. The cabin is very spacious, and private. There is a wonderful fully...

We spent four nights at this very comfortable and spacious 2-bedroom chalet in Upper Takaka. The chalet is in a quiet location with fantastic views in all directions. We were self-catering, and the kitchen proved to be extremely well equipped and a pleasure to work in. Our hosts, Ivor and Rob, made us most welcome and were always friendly and...

We recently stayed 3 nights at Takaka Valley Farm Stay. The cottage is located on a working farm approx 50 metres from the owners own home, so we felt like we had plently of space to ourselves. The cottage has 2 bedrooms plus both couches in the lounge turn into sofa beds, so upto 8 people can stay. The kitchen...
